Will adding Urea to my Sublime mixture improve it's post emergence uptake/performance on weeds? Will adding citric acid help because I have hard water? I put down ScottsTurf Builder preemergent w/ lawn food 3 weeks ago, so should I worry about too much nitrogen with the Urea? I also plan to use a non ionic surfactant, per the label instructions, and spraying my entire yard.
The product label for Sublime Herbicide states: Before tank mixing this product with other herbicides, conduct a compatibility, safety, and effi cacy test before treating larger areas. It is the pesticide user’s responsibility to ensure that all products are registered for the intended use. Read and follow the applicable restrictions, limitations, and directions for use on all product labels involved in the tank mixture. Users must follow the most restrictive directions for use and precautionary statements of each product in the tank mixture
So it is possible to tank mix with fertilizers but it would not effect the Sublime application. We are not familiar with adding citrus acid to your lawn.
We recommend using a soil analysis test kit or taking a sample of your soil to your local cooperative extension so your soil can be analyzed to determine what nutrients your soil is lacking. The healthiest, hardiest lawns are fertilized 2-4 times per year, fall, summer, early spring and late spring.
