Safe-Guard 0.5% Pellets is a medicated dewormer for Beef & Dairy Cattle that contains the active ingredient fenbendazole in a palatable pellet. Feed for one day, as a top dressing. Parasites can lead to numerous health issues in cattle including impaired reproduction, reduced growth, poor productivity and even death. Safe-Guard 0.5% medicated dewormer is a pelleted dewormer for beef and dairy cattle that provides effective treatment and control of a variety of internal parasites.
Safe-Guard 0.5% medicated dewormer for Beef & Dairy Cattle is approved for the removal and control of lungworms, barberpole worms, brown stomach worms, small stomach worms, hookworms, thread-necked intestinal worms, small intestinal worms, bankrupt worms, and nodular worms.
Do not administer to cattle within 13 days of slaughter. Do not administer to calves to be processed for veal. For dairy cattle, there is no milk withdrawal period.

Under conditions of continued exposure to parasites, retreatment may be needed after 4-6 weeks.

Per the product label of Safe-Guard .5% Pellets, is applied at 5 mg fenbendazole per kg body weight in a ONE (1) DAY TREATMENT. You will administer 158.75 mg per day for a 70lb (31.75kg) calf. Under conditions of continued exposure to parasites, retreatment may be needed after 4-6 weeks.
