Obviously, you don't want to use Termidor on pets. But can you use this around the exterior of your home if you have an outside dog? I just removed the old rock mulch from around our home. I want to replace it with treated mulch but also want to take an extra step on termite prevention so I'd like to find a product to do that. I just worried about my pup possibly digging where the product has been applied
Termidor SC can be sprayed around the perimeter of the home one foot up & one foot out. Once the product has dried it will be safe for pets again. Since the product bonds with the soil, it would not affect your dog even if they're digging there. Keep in mind that spraying termidor does not prevent termites, simply other pests such as spiders, ants, roaches, etc. If you are looking to do either a preventive or currative treatment for termites you will need to dig a trench around the home.
