This is a good little, lightweight drop spreader. I still use it for granular herbicides and fertilizer as I don't have to be so careful about cleaning after use. I own a 24" gandy drop spreader for seeding and it's certainly better in every way, but costs 7x as much as this scotts. Only problem I have with Scots is the shut-off can be unreliable. I have to pick it up and carry sometimes. Early morning dew can wet and clog up the bottom of this spreader with certain products.
