Scotts Turf Builder Triple Action Built For Seeding is a unique fertilizer developed with three modes of action that jump starts seed growth, feeds new seeds, and protects against weeds for up to 6 weeks. It contains just the right combination of nutrients to help new lawns grow thicker and faster with stronger roots. Highly effective in preventing stubborn weeds including dandelion, crabgrass, carpetweed, ground ivy, henbit, and yellow nutsedge (see label for complete list). Scotts Turf Builder Triple Action works best when applied to a dry lawn and lightly watered in. Use a rotary or drop spreader to apply. Recommended for use on tall fescue, fine fescue, Kentucky bluegrass, perennial ryegrass, and centipede grasses. The 17.2 pound bag covers 4,000 sq. ft.

HOW TO USE:

You will need a broadcast/rotary, drop, or spreader.
Fill the hopper on the spreader and set the setting as indicated on the package.
Applications should be made to a dry lawn.
If using a broadcast/rotary or spreader, walk at a steady pace and line up each pass 5 feet from the previous wheel track.
If using a drop spreader, while walking at a steady pace, align the arrow on the spreader with the previous wheel track.
When you have completed the application, lightly water the area to activate Scotts Turf Builder Triple Action Built For Seeding.

To help control creeping woodsorrel and pigweed, Dismiss Turf Herbicide can be used and you can use Howard Johnsons Dimension 0.27G Herbicide as a pre-emergent.
