I tried so many different weed killers with no success to kill nutsedge weeds in my flowerbeds. I was even thinking in removing all my flowerbeds because of these weeds. I used this product and killed them! Very effective and highly recommended!! The flowers did not suffer when I applied the weed killer.

I bought this last year to kill sedge that kept popping up from when I used Bonide's Sedge Ender (which is a good product but if a tuft survives it just re-spreads). This stuff actually killed the sedge 100%, none has come up this year at all and I'm now finally able to put down grass seed to grow in the dead spots.

I used this during my working years. Now I have an impressive population of nutsedge at my house. I've tried the OTC product from the box stores and had marginal success. I had to treat my entire back yard to treat it all. Two weeks later and the plants are yellow.

I have been struggling to control nutsedge. Like most people, I was relying on products off the shelf with marginal results. Fortunately, I listened to a local radio garden show, and learned about Sedgehammer. What a result!! And what a value in this package. The spoon included, measured level, goes into a gallon of water. This creates the value as I calculated 80 gallons of product from this bottle. I have applied twice. Both applications were spot treatments, but since some weeds germinated after the initial treatment, I waited 30 days to treat those. The product begins to work in a matter of days, and two weeks later there is substantial die-back. Just like I anticipated. Remember to use a surfactant.

My yard was almost covered with sedge. I sprayed it with SedgeHammer and within a week it was all gone. I did not realize how thick it was and now I am looking for sod.

The sedge hammer product seems to be working very well. all the nut grass is either dead or dying, I will need to do a follow up application to see it is totally eradicated. i would recommend it to any one who has yellow nut sedge in their lawn. it also appears to kill regular field nut grass.

I've used SedgeHammer and MSM to control all the weeds. These products are worth every penny. I spray maybe once every 6 months to maintain control. Important .....follow directions, a little goes a long way.

Put this stuff down with a pull behind sprayer. Had surprise rain about 3 hrs after. I figured I just wasted 30 gallons of this. It rained hard. 3 to 5 days later the nutsedge wasn't growing. 3 more days yellow and then brown. Took out some other weeds as well. Even with the rain I can't believe how well this worked. Thanks

This stuff is awesome. We have Blue grass. I didn't mow for a week and a half prior to using because I wanted the sedgegrass to be nice and tall to get good herbicide coverage, and didn't mow again until eight days after application. It's been three weeks now since application and still no sign of sedgegrass. I will not hesitate to purchase again if needed. Just follow the directions and don't forget the surfactant if it's not already added. Very satisfied with this product.

I treated approximately 3 acres full of Nutsedge. I made only 1 application and SedgeHammer and it killed approximately 99 to 100%. Awesome product!!!

This was the answer to by sedge problem. I'm used to roundup and seeing brown within a couple days. This sedge hammer isn't as quick, but give it time and you'll be happy with the results. I saw effects 7-10 days after application.

It worked for me. Not sure what else to say. A lot cheaper than the ortho nutsedge killer and works better. I used a pump sprayer.

Sedge Hammer is the best for getting rid of Nut Sedge. Follow directions and re apply after 3 months. The best I have found. Blue Spray Indicator dye is needed to not miss any spots.

Finally found a product to eliminate the nut grass in the flower beds. The product goes on easily and in 1-2 weeks results or noted with the elimination of the plant.

SedgeHammer is one of the best for eliminating Nutsedge. It works great, but make sure to use the correct surfactant for best results. Also, a follow up application or two may be necessary, as the remaining nutlets will send up new growth.

This stuff works, after several days my wife tells me it's not working. I look and the nut grass appears to be growing better. I go back and review the directions, I mixed just as specified. I let it set for a couple more weeks and wow, it's all turned brown and dead. Definitely recommend.

Used my 21 gallon broadcast sprayer with a surfactant. Took about 10 days for all of it to turn yellow and start dying. My yard was overrun with it and this did great. Did not affect my Bermuda.

Works great. At first, you see nothing except the sedge quits growing. Takes about 2 weeks before it dies. No harmful effects to zoysia.

The name says it all! It knocked out the Nut Sedge better than expected - but be patient and follow the directions.
