SePRO Total Pond Clear G is a granulated algaecide formulated to improve the quality of water in various aquatic sites including rivers, ponds, reservoirs, lakes, streams, laterals and ditches, irrigation and drainage canals, water features, potable water systems, livestock watering basins. This algaecide clears the water by reducing phosphorus levels in it and it is potent enough to control a large range of algae species from green and blue-green plank-tonic to filamentous algae. This product can be used all year-round to repress all types of algae. Algae treated using this product usually begin to show discoloration within one day and will continue to dissolute over the next 3 to 7 days. Comes in 5 lb. pail and can treat up to a quarter of an acre, 4 feet deep.

I will apply where the pump puts water into my lava rock filter and flows down to the pond.
If SePRO Total Pond Clear G is not used as directed on the product label , it could be harmful to fish. It should not be applied to water areas containing trout, koi, goldfish or other fish species that are highly sensitive to copper. Begin by treating from the shoreline, outward toward the middle of water body, this will allow fish to move to areas away from the treatment. Do not apply this product to more than one-third of the total water body surface area at any one time. Wait a minimum of two weeks between treatments.
