Treating Bagworms

I was beside myself with 100s of bagworms all over my evergreen trees and shrubs, killing them. I used ecosmart insect killer, killed many but still had a bunch left. I tried Sevin and no more bagworms! Love this product! It works and not too expensive!!

Sevin Concentrate does not list specific ornamentals it can be used on to kill the listed insects on the product label but should be safe for applications to elephant ear plants. You can test on a small area for any issues before covering the plants completely.
Please view page 7 in the section on Ornamental Trees, Shrubs, flowers and ground cover for more information.

It looks like the product Sevin XLR Plus Insecticide has the active ingredient Carbaryl, which was the previous active for Sevin Concentrate. Sevin Concentrate has since changes it's active ingredient to Zeta-Cypermethrin

While Sevin Concentrate is labeled for a variety of different scales, it is not labeled for bark scale. It would be best to drench with an imidacloprid product such as Prime Source Imidacloprid 2F Select T/I. Some extension office actually recommend avoiding Seven for scale

Sevin Concentrate like other insecticides has the possibility of freezing when stored in freezing temperatures. We would recommend storing it out of extreme temperatures. Generally when shipping a product it would not freeze the facilities are climate controlled to a certain degree & are not on trucks long enough. However, we would recommend bringing it inside as soon as possible once delivered
I planted snapdragons close together with my son who is now in Heaven. I miss him deeply and these snapdragons are very important to me. They look close to a bush. Sadly, plume moths are destroying them. How do I use this product to get rid of the plume moths and save my snapdragons? I live in Northern CA and the flowers face east. Thank you for your time and help.
Sevin Concentrate is used at 4 oz of product per gallon of water when applied with a Hand Pump sprayer or Hose-End sprayer. Spray thoroughly to wet plant surfaces up to the point of runoff. Complete instructions on the label.
I read Sevin with Carbaryl kills locust bores but I do not see that ingredient on any of the Sevin products I've seen. Is this formula still effective against locust borers? I'm trying to treat my beloved purple robe locust which has locust borers.
Yes, Locust Borers are listed on Sevin Concentrate manufacturers label, found on page 9.
We would suggest contacting the manufacturer of Sevin Concentrate directly for more information on over application at 866-945-5033.
Can the age of it from this number be searched

Anyway to liquify it, add water or vinegar?
If the liquid in the Sevin Concentrate bottle has hardened, it would need to be discarded as it is no longer usable. Even if you could liquify the contents, the efficacy has been diminished.

If so, should you spray it before the flowers bloom? Can it be sprayed at anytime even if there is already fruit on the plant? Also if it gets on the fruit is it not edible?
Unfortunately Sevin Concentrate is not specifically labeled for passion fruit so we are unable to advise on timing.
Have used native plants in my large yard. May I use liquid Sevin on them he same way I use in on nursery plants?
Sevin Concentrate can be used on Residential: Fruit Trees, Lawns, Ornamental Plants, Vegetable Gardens, Flowers, Shrubs, and Outdoor Perimeter of House as directed on label. We do recommend avoiding spraying any blooms.
