No, Sevin Concentrate is labeled for use on trees, ornaments and flowers. You will mix between 1.5 fl. oz. to 3.0 fl. oz. per gallon of water. This can be applied using a hand pump sprayer or a hose end sprayer.

If Sevin Concentrate is used as directed, the product should not kill your garden. Be sure to check the label for the specific mixing ratios, as well as the harvest times for each edible.
Sevin Concentrate could be used on apricot trees for prevention and early treatment. Per the product label: Do not use on large trees or where pest populations are generally inaccessible to spray deposits, as inadequate performance will result.
Unfortunately, once the borers have already infested the tree there are not any viable treatment options as they would be protected from sprays. In cases of infestation the general recommendation is to simply protect the surrounding trees with preventative sprays with a product labeled for such a use.
