I have army worms in my Bermuda lawn, how long will it take to kill the worms with Sevin?
How often should I treat?
A
Even though Sevin Insecticide Granules and Sevin Concentrate have the same active ingredients, they have different formulations. Because they have different formulations, they have separate Product Labels that have separate use instructions. For more detailed information as to why the Sevin Insecticide Granules can be used on lawns, where the Sevin Concentrate is limited to vegetables, fruit, and ornamentals please contact the manufacturer, GardenTech at 866-945-5033.
Since squirrels are attracted to sweet corn, they could potentially ingest Sevin Concentrate. Please keep in mind that after Sevin is diluted there is only a large enough amount active ingredient to kill small insects. The squirrel would have to ingest a lot of corn treated with sevin for it to harm them.
Why can't I use Sevin concentrate on lawns?
I want to know the reason and not just the answer. You can't cause they say so. Thanks

Can I still eat my green beans?
I sprayed liquid Sevin on my green beans not realizing that there were already tons of beans ripe and ready to be picked. If I wait a few days and wash them very well, can I still eat the beans?
A
Sevin Concentrate is not specifically labeled for green beans, so we cannot recommend eating them after they have been treated. For more information, you may reach out to the manufacturer (GardenTech) at 866-945-5033.
Yes, Sevin Concentrate is labeled to kill stink bugs. If you are spraying on vegetables and/or ornamental trees, shrubs and flowers, you will mix 1.5 fl. oz. with a gallon of water. If you are spraying on fruits, you will mix 3.0 fl. oz. of of solution with a gallon of water. You will need to spray the upper and lower leaf surfaces to the point of runoff where the pests appear. Please let us know if you have any additional questions.
Will Sevin Concentrate it hurt the bees?
the bees are busy pollenating. the fly control predators are also busy will this hurt them? I have sprayed squashes, pumpkins and cucumbers once, but not sure if all the bugs are gone.
A
According to the Sevin Concentrate product label "This product is highly toxic to honeybees and other bees. Do not apply to plants in bloom." Almost all insecticides are toxic to bees as they are non-selective. You can help limit any effect to bees by being careful not to apply the insecticides when bees are actively foraging in the area.
Being it's warm outside the Sevin dries immediately. Is it still being effective?
A
Sevin Concentrate should be used while temperates are between 40 degrees and 85 degrees Fahrenheit for it be effective and safe. Even though it is drying quickly, it is still working on the plants if it is being applied within that temperature range. Also, Sevin needs to be applied at least 24 hours before an expected rain. Please let us know if you have any additional questions.
I sprayed Sevin inside by accident how long will it take for my room to be safe?

Since Sevin Concentrate is not labeled to be applied indoors, we are unsure when it will be safe to reenter. We would highly recommend to contact the manufacturer GardenTech 866-945-5033. We apologize for this inconvenience.
