    After spraying Sevin Ready to Spray Insect Killer, there is the same amount of liquid in the bottle as when I started. Is this normal or how can this be fixed?

    When you are using the Sevin Ready to Spray Insect Killer, you will want to first attach the hose to the product, turn on the water and then turn in the on position to disperse the product. Here is a quick video showing the operation of the Sevin Ready to Spray Killer.

    There is only Rinse & Clean on my Sevin Ready to Spray Insect Killer RTS, there is no "ON" so how do I spray the insecticide?
    A

    We are aware of the confusion with the manufacturer’s verbiage on the product label for the Sevin Ready to Spray Insect Killer and what selections are actually on the container bottle and do apologize for this error. 

    With the setting in the “OFF” position, attach the water house to hose end connector and aim towards direction of application and away from you. Turn control lever to “MIX” to begin spraying, this will be setting at the furthest end on top of the RTS Bottle.

    My sprayer of 7 is 3 years old. Is it still effective?

    Sevin Ready to Spray Bug Killer has a 3-5 year shelf life when stored properly. You are guaranteed at least the minimum shelf life when ordering a product through our company. The product has a 5 year shelf life from the manufacture date. For more information on the shelf life of your product, you may contact the manufacturer (GardenTech) directly with the lot number, and they can  let you know when the product was manufactured, if you do not see the manufacture date on the bottle.     Sevin Ready to Spray Insect Killer can be applied at any time during the day. However we recommend applying early morning or late evening when temperatures exceed 90 degrees.

    How do I use the spray but protect lady bugs, bees, and an American Goldfinch eating the seeds out of a plant.
    I chased away an American Goldfinch who was feasting on the seeds of a Sunflower plant I had sprayed a few hours earlier. It will probably die from this. I felt terrible. I also noticed 2 ladybugs just after I had sprayed. Even though I sprayed at 8:30 AM, a few bees flew up as well. Not good. My goal was to stop the grasshoppers who were decimating my bushes and flowers.

    The Sevin Ready to Spray Insect Killer is toxic to bees, lady bugs, and other insect pollinators. There is no safe way to use this insecticide without the lady bugs also coming into contact with the treated surfaces.

    What about Sweet Cherry trees?
    I can't seem to find an answer as to whether or not Sevin is safe to use on my Stella Sweet Cherry tree, and on my pear trees. I asked this question once before, and never received an answer! Please send specific answer!

    Sevin Ready to Spray Insect Killer can be used on Sweet Cherry trees and pear trees
     
    the Pre-Harvest Interval (PHI) refers to the minimum number of days that must pass between the date of the last application and the date of harvest.                
    Stone Fruit Group including Apricot, Cherry (Sweet and Tart), Nectarine, Peach, Plum (including Chickasaw Plum, Damson Plum, and Japanese Plum), Plumcot, Prune (fresh) PHI 14 days
     
    Pome Fruit Group including Apple, Crabapple, Loquat, Mayhaw, Pear, Oriental Pear, and Quince PHI 14 Day

    What do I turn the dial to? Rinse? Is rinse actually on? Totally confusing!!

    How do I turn the Sevin Ready to Spray Insect Killer off?

    You will want to turn the lever on the Sevin Ready to Spray Insect Killer  from ON to OFF then turn off faucet. Turn back ON and OFF for residual water.
