Shake-Away Coyote Urine Granules Deer Repellent is the ideal solution that will help keep deer away from your garden and yard to prevent them from eating your plants, vegetables, shrubs and trees. This natural pest repellent is made from organic ingredients, making this safe to use around your family, pets, and plants. It uses deer’s fear of coyote, their most common predator, by creating an illusion that they are present in the area. A HOWLIN' GOOD PRODUCT!

This is the first year, I took over doing all the gardening. I so carefully tended my little seedlings. Checked them everyday. Well! One day I got about half my pepper plants and my sunflowers were nipped off clean as a whistle! Varmits! So I researched what to do. I ended up getting the granulated coyote urine. My kids are cracking up, but the jokes on them, it worked! I replanted the seeds, and I'm proud to say they are all doing just fine a month later. Thank you for making such a great product. I was glad I was just crazy enough to try it. I'll be using it at the first sign of a problem.

I applied Shake Away several times. However we've had a number of days with rain in them and I had enough left for another shake. I waited for a dry day and COMPLETELY COVERED the outline of our property. 3 hours later - Yep, a deer walked right into the front yard, moseyed around, sniffed around and eventually wandered into the neighbor's yard. GREAT REPELLENT!! NOT!!!!! The deer walked right through it and didn't phase them.

The birds are messy and scatter food below the feeder and the deer are there every day stealing all the seed from the birds that prefer eating on the ground.
According to the SDS for Shake-Away Coyote Urine Deer Repellent, it does not have any known toxicity to wildlife, so we do not believe it would harmful to the birds. It would be best to use a repellent farther away from the bird feeder so that you are repelling the deer from the entire area rather than just a very small area. Birds are not typically affected by repellents that rely on scent.

Per the manufacturer, Shake-Away Coyote Urine Deer Repellent is somewhat rain proof once it has been applied. However, if you receive large amounts of rain or very heavy rain, the product would need to be re-applied. You would apply twice a week for the first two or three weeks and then twice a month for maintenance thereafter.

Shake-Away Coyote Urine Deer Repellent will not harm pets if used as directed. It could deter them as it projects a predator scent.
