Product Overview

Slay Herbicide is a selective, post-emergent herbicide that kills unwanted grass and broad-leaf weeds that can hurt your desirable food plots. Field-tested and formulated especially for a wide range of broad-leaf weeds, the product does not effect your crops while it kills the weeds, leaving your food plots to produce the most they can. Best used in the spring and early summer, when the target weeds are growing or in their early stages of growth. Just mix the product with either oil additives or surfactants, which it needs for the application to be effective, and apply it using a backpack, 4-wheeler, or a tractor sprayers.

GENERAL INFORMATION

Slay Herbicide kills weeds by root and/or foliage uptake and rapid translocation to the growing points. Adequate soil moisture is important for optimum Slay activity. Slay will provide residual control of susceptible germinating weeds when adequate moisture is present; activity on established weeds will depend on the weed species and the location of its root system in the soil.

Temporary yellowing and/or internode shortening may occasionally occur following applications of Slay. These effects occur infrequently and are temporary. Normal appearance and growth should resume within 1 to 2 weeks.

  • Specifically developed for food plots
  • Spray spring or early summer when broad leaf weeds are emerging and in the early growth stages.
  • Can be easily applied with a 4-wheeler or tractor sprayer
  • Safe for use in clover and alfalfa fields
  • Slay must be mixed with a surfactant or oil additive, such as Sure-Fire Crop Oil Plus
  • Warning: Do not spray on  emerging seedling clovers or alfalfas
