I have 3 of these leashes. One is a 10' snap leash, one is a 6' snap leash and one is a 10' slip collar (martindale style) leash. Although I love the snap collar leashes, I fell in love with the 10' slip collar leash and, therefore, ordered a 6' of the same. I am planning on ordering a traffic lead also. The thickness of these leashes make it easy on my hands...(I am 70 years old with arthritic hands). They are very well made and neither of my GSD pup (5-7 mos old) can chew through them! Finally, the slip collar is snug (even without the 'holder' being applied) but soft on the neck of my dogs. When it is time to come out of the kennel, I simply hold the open slip end and my dogs walk right into the hole. Neither dog is inclined to resist it. This makes taking the dogs out of the kennel very easy for me. What I love almost as much as the leash itself is the free shipping. While I could purchase these leashes at amazon, the shipping is very high and, when combined with the cost of the leash, the cost is prohibitive....especially since the company would not combine shipping if multiple leashes were purchased! I was so grateful to find this website. I am only paying about $1.00 more (than amazon) for the actual leash but get free shipping. I only wish they also carried a 20' leash. BTW, I have given this website as an alternate source of these leashes on my amazon review (as my first 10' leash was purchased through amazon). Now I only purchase them here!
