HOW IT WORKS

Soil Test Like A Pro In 3 Easy Steps

1. Fill the provided jar with your soil. Using the provided scoop, place one level scoop of your soil into the jar. Securely tighten jar to avoid sample leaking during shipment. Fill out all sample information on the sample jar and provided submission card. PLEASE KEEP CUSTOMER CARD AND SAMPLE BARCODE.
2. Ship in the pre-paid postage envelope. Place jar into a pre-paid bag, seal package; drop off in your mailbox or at any USPS location.
3. Results are available online. Please allow 7-10 business days for your report to be available via email or online at the website.

Using Soil Savvy is quick and easy! Simply place a portion of your soil into the provided Soil Savvy container and mail it in the pre-paid postage envelope.

Once your Soil Savvy is analyzed by the UNIBEST laboratory, your results are available via email or on our website.

• In Season - allows for adjustments mid-season to ensure production and quality, as well as informed rescue treatments should issues arise.
• Fall/Post-Harvest - Determine an informed course of action if the soil is to be reused and reconstituted.

HOW TO TAKE A SAMPLE

A quality soil sample will ensure maximum test accuracy. Combining soil from multiple locations provides the best results. Watch our video on how to take a sample and follow these simple steps.

To generate a composite sample:

1. Collect 3-6 soil samples from multiple locations in your desired test area. (Sample depth can vary based on plant type, with the effective rooting zone as your target depth.) Samples should be free of any plant material and other debris.
2. Combine these samples in a large plastic bag and mix thoroughly.
3. Once the soil is thoroughly mixed, follow the kit instructions for sample preparation and shipment.
