Sole Pack Medicated Hoof Packing is an antiseptic and anti-fungal emollient paste that helps relieve dry and sore hooves as well as maintain hoof pliability of horses. It features a powerful yet gentle formula which is effective in fighting fungal and bacterial infection, plus treat thrush and white line diseases. This fast-acting formula contains natural ingredients which help soothe and manage hoof problems to keep them healthy. It produces natural oils and moisturizers to help condition harden hooves, but also works on hardening soft hooves. Comes in an easy-to-use individual packet.

For use with leather or synthetic pads:
Clean the foot and trim the hoof. Pack the hoof with Sole Pack Hoof Packing Paste. Use fingers to work the paste into cavities. Apply pad and shoe on the hoof.
For bandage applications:
Clean the foot. Pack the hoof with SOLE PACK Hoof Packing Paste. Use fingers to work the paste into cavities. Cover with paper and a bandage or with a polypropylene boot. If necessary, duct tape can be used if the bandage or boot will not stay on.
Duration of treatment:
Sole Pack Hoof Packing may be left in place overnight for up to 18 hours. At that time, remove packing and re-examine the foot. New Sole Pack Hoof Packing Paste may be applied daily until all signs of infection have disappeared or until the desired hoof pliability has been restored. After this, the use of Sole Pack Hoof Packing Paste may be continued two or three times per week. The total duration of treatment should not exceed six weeks.

These have been around for ages and are my go-to when stabling away at horse shows after a day of jumping. They stay in the hoof and do not get your hands messy (or the horses' elbows when they sleep with their hooves curled under them). And they have a nice smell. And they rest up the feet for the next day. Less messy then Magic Cushion and poltice - comes in neat little individual packages and not as costly
