Southern Ag Chelated General Purpose Flower & Garden Nutritional Spray is derived from Magnesium Lignin Sulfate Chelate, Magnesium Sulfate, Manganese Lignin Sulfate Chelate, Manganese Sulfate, Copper Lignin Sulfate Chelate, Copper Sulfate, Zinc Lignin Sulfate Chelate, Zinc Sulfate, Ferrous Lignin Sulfate Chelate and Ferrous Sulfate. The chelating agent in this formula is Lignin Sulfate. It was strategically and carefully combined to treat, prevent, and control minor element deficiencies and other deficiencies that may cause yellowing of foliage. This plant food provides the minor elements essential to the healthy growth of turfgrass, flowers, and vegetables. It can be used at the first signs of the deficiency symptoms.

FOLIAGE APPLICATION:
Mix 1 tablespoonful per gallon of water. Apply to give thorough coverage of upper and lower surfaces of foliage. Spray an amount sufficient to cause run-off of spray.
SOIL APPLICATION:
Mix 2 tablespoonfuls per gallon of water and apply over 100 square feet. For flower beds and vegetable gardens, treat the bed area. For shrubs and trees, treat the root area. This area usually extends out as far as the foliage.
LAWNS:
Use 8 to 16 fluid ounces per 1,000 square feet (2 to 3 tablespoonful per 100 square feet) Apply in a sufficient volume of water to thoroughly wet the foliage and runoff in the root zone. Hose attached sprayers provide a convenient method to treat lawns.

No, Southern Ag Chelated General Purpose Minor Element Nutritional Spray is not labeled to be used on seeds, it is used at the first signs of the deficiency symptoms so plants need to be actively growing first.

We do not see why you cannot mix the Southern Ag Chelated General Purpose Flower & Garden Nutritional Spray with the Southern AG 10401. However, we do recommend doing a jar test first to see if they mix well together and reviewing each product label for any tank mixing restrictions.
