Southern Ag Chelated Palm Nutritional Spray is derived from Magnesium Lignin Sulfonate, Magnesium Sulfate, Manganese Lignin Sulfonate, Manganese Sulfate, Iron Sulfate, and Iron Lignin Sulfonate. The chelating agent in this formula is Lignin Sulfonate. It was strategically and carefully combined to treat, prevent, and control minor element deficiencies and other deficiencies that may cause browning, yellowing, curling, and permanent injury in palms. This plant food provides the minor elements essential to the healthy growth of palms, and other ornamentals, shrubs, and trees. It can be used at the first signs of the deficiency symptoms. Available in a 1-gallon jug.

Foliar Application: Mix this material at the rate of 1 to 2 tablespoonfuls per gallon of water (1.5 to 3 quarts per 100 gallons). Apply to thoroughly wet the fronds to the point of run-off, also spray some of the material directly into the heart of the palm.
Soil Application: For small palms use 1 oz. of material in at least one-half gallon of water per tree. For medium sized trees use 2 to 4 oz. of material in at least one gallon of water per tree. Treat the root area, this area usually extends out as far as the foliage. Curative applications should be repeated in 14 days. Preventative maintenance applications should be made at 3 to 4 months intervals.
Commercial Soil Applications: Using 4 to 8 quarts per 100 gallons, drench the appropriate amount of solution at noted above.
NOTE: For the continued correction and prevention of these problems the addition of Manganese Sulfate and Magnesium Sulfate to the soil may be advisable.
