Southern Ag Dipel Dust is a dry insecticide formulated to kill and control of hornworms, leaf folders, and cabbage loopers in home and gardens. The active ingredient in this product, Bacillus Thuringiensis, is a bacteria known to be toxic to certain pests but it has low toxicity to animals and humans. It can be used to aid the growth of commercial organic gardens or the plain home gardens. This product is most effective when eaten by the insects infesting the plant. It is applied using a hand duster or a garden duster when the air is calm. It is highly recommended to be used at the first signs of infestation and reapplied at weekly intervals as required to sustain control. It is essential to thoroughly cover the leaf especially the underside. Some insects will cease feeding after application and may appear to be unaffected for several days post-application.
