    Q
Will Southern Ag Lawn Weed Killer with Trimec kill my white and purple clover?
I don't want to kill the clovers but I do want to kill Dandelions. What would you recommend? Thank you.
    A
The Southern Ag Lawn Weed Killer with Trimec is labeled to kill both dandelions and clover.  We have heard of using a 2,4-D product such as the Hi-Yield at lower than recommended rates and spot spraying the dandelions only.  There is still the potential to harm or stunt the clover but other than manually removing the dandelion there is not a broadleaf herbicide that may not also kill the clover.

    Q
Will Southern Ag control or limit Torpedo grass without hurting Centipede grass?
I used last year during the early summer and appears to have killed areas of my Centipede. How can I control or eliminate Torpedo grass?
    A
Southern Ag Lawn Weed Killer with Trimec is not labeled for torpedo-grass and the product label does warn that it can be damaging to centipede grass.  Most of the herbicides will only suppress the torpedograss for a short time. It is recommended to spot treat the torpedo grass with a non-selective herbicide such as Round Up Quick Pro and then reseed or sod in the treated areas.
