It should be applied when you are not expecting any rainfall during the application and wh=ithin 24 hours of drying. It can be applied to dogs older than 12 weeks after consulting with the vet. Please refer to the product label application instructions as follows:"The To kill FLEAS, BROWN DOG TICKS, AND LICE ON DOGS and to obtain protection against re-infestation: Dilute at a rate of 1 part concentrate and 9 parts water and wet the animal by dipping or spraying. To kill SPINOSE EAR TICK: Dilute at the rate of 1 part concentrate and 24 parts of water and apply by individual treatment, syringing or pouring a few drops into the ears of dogs. For best results against fleas and ticks on dogs, the kennels or animal quarters and bedding should also be treated. Do not reapply product for 14 days."
