Spectre 2 SC is a non-repellent insecticide formulated with 21.45% of Chlorfenpyr to kill ants, cockroaches, and bed bugs. Because it is odorless and non-repellent, insects can’t sense it to avoid it. Spectre 2 SC has a transfer effect, once an insect comes to contact with it, it spreads and transfers onto other insects through touch or food sharing controlling pests that have not come into contact with it. It provides a long lasting residual control. May be used inside residential structures, commercial areas and institutional areas and more for control of ants, beetles, bed bugs, boxelder bugs, cockroaches and more.
Compare to: Phantom Termiticide/Insecticide.

Spectre 2 SC

If you will notice this is the exact same ingredient of phanthom; and , if you go to phantoms review it is an excellent spray to use against bed bugs. I recently used, and it took about a week to see good results. I was concerned about the first three days, because I really did not see any difference. Then I started finding dead bugs on a daily basis. I also washed clothes and bed linen every night. And vacuumed every evening and discarded vacuum bag. After seven days I don't notice any bugs, but I am ready for a counter attack. So I applied some perithin with a synergen in it. (you can find a cheap one on do my own). And in three days will apply the spectre 2 again. You have to confuse them and fight them with determination.

Works on Bedbugs!
By Momof2boys on 03/03/2018
This is really powerful stuff. We didn't expect it to work so quickly, but after putting it down on the bedframe and all the baseboards, the body count really started to rise. We only saw 4 live bugs the week after, then applied Temprid to the bed frames cracks and have only seen one live bug this week. And he was half-dead. There is no odor to this chemical at all, and it dries clear. We're alternating Temprid and Spectre until all the live bugs are gone. Just be sure and treat the baseboards as well as the bed. This week we found a dead bug, looks like he was walking along the baseboard toward the bed, but died midway. Had we not treated the baseboards as well, they would have taken up residence there.

Roach and bed bugs
By Sharon on 08/09/2019
Spectre 2 SC is labeled for roaches and should do a good job. This can be used indoors and outdoors. Indoors, you will spray around the cracks, crevices and baseboards in the problem areas. Once the product is dry, it is safe for any children and/or pets to return to the area. Outdoors, you will spray around the perimeter of your home. The good thing about this product is that it is a non-repellent. This means that the roaches will not detect it when they come in contact with it. They will just get it on themselves and die as well as carrying it back to the colony and spreading it throughout.
Another good item to use is Gentrol IGR (insect growth regulator). This will stop the roaches from reproducing. It can be mixed in the same tank as Spectre.

Can either of these be mixed with Demand CS or Permethrin SFR ?
Spectre 2 SC has the same active ingredient as Phantom Termiticide/Insecticide but they have different applications. Phantom can be used for termites while Spectre cannot. Neither should be mixed with another insecticide such as Demand CS or Permethrin SFR.

their was not many reviews on this product. In the past I ordered Suspend SC. Your thoughts on which product best fits my needs for bedbugs.
Spectre 2SC is labeled to be used for the treatment of bed bugs as a crack and crevice spray, around baseboards, doors and windows, and plumbing and pipe fixtures. It is recommended to use additional products to successfully treat for bedbugs as it takes more than one product to treat the problem successfully. A great start would be to take a look at our bed bug guide, which will direct you to our best products that have been most effective on eradicating bed bugs, as well as give you video guides and helpful hints to make the process most effective.
