only thing that worked on Henbit so far
By Joseph on 03/17/2023
tried two other weed killers, one bought at big box store, one bought a plant nursery store, but Henbit was too tough for those. I sprayed Speed Zone with a "pull behind my mower" sprayer , and within a week 99% was dying or dead. I used a surfacent ,and blue dye to ensure complete coverage of 15,000 sq ft of bermuda. Very happy with the results. Bought another bottle to have on hand if I need to spray in the future.

SpeedZone works!
By Senora on 09/30/2022
I like Speed Zone because it works. I have Spurge which is a tough weed to kill. I start applying Speed Zone in February to kill them before germination and one other time later in the year to kill them after they have germinated again. I hate weeds!! Different granual products did not work well, especially around the edges, which is where Spurge love to appear because the concrete edges are hot and this weed LOVES hot weather and areas.

Not effective on Virginia Buttonweed
By Ja on 07/13/2022
Bought this specifically for Virginia Buttonweed (as listed in the specimen label). Applied spot treatments as directed but absolutely no success. It didn't even suppress the Virginia Buttonweed. Not so much worried about the money, but wasted my time and efforts. Cheaper options for common broadleaf control, hence the 1 star rating.
Expert response:
Thank you for taking the time to review this product. We are sorry to hear that you are disappointed in the performance of this product. Please keep in mind that when treating for Virginia Buttonweed, selective post-emergent herbicides should be applied in April or May at the latest, when the weed first appears in your lawn and is young and tender in it's earliest stage of growth. In the mid-summer months, when the weeds are fully established and strong, you will need multiple applications to have any effect whatsoever on this difficult to control weed, regardless of the product you are using. You may also want to refer to our Virginia Buttonweed Treatment Guide linked below for more detailed information on controlling this weed. We appreciate your business!

Speed Zone is a Great Product
By Aaron on 05/25/2022
I used other weed killers before and they never seemed to work very quickly and they did not always work on all of the variety of weeds in had in my yard. I did some research on line, ordered Speed Zone and it has worked on the plethora of weeds I had in my yard. I can truly say that this the best weedkiller I have ever used.

Weeds be gone
By Rob on 03/19/2022
Delivery was quick and the price was good. Speed Zone is the best weed killer I've found so far. I use it to kill wild garlic, henbit, dandelions and another weed I don't know the name of. Results varied between 4 hours and 3 days. This was applied when the temps were in the 60's during the day and 30's during the night.

Solid product
By Mario on 11/08/2021
Speedzone is an excellent herbicide and works well for creeping charlie (ground ivy) and other hard to kill nuisance weeds. It contains a surfactant so you do not need to add any sticking agents. I would recommend getting a quality battery powered sprayer for application. Read the instructions on application rate per square foot for lawn/weed combination. Its getting a bit pricey however; however, it works very well

Works ok
By Zak on 10/29/2021
It worked ok on some weeds by killing them quickly but others showed no sign of damage after spraying them, except for the grass which got killed. I only spot treated a couple areas to see if it would in fact kill the grass and unfortunately a couple spots did die off. Maybe a went a little heavy in those spots but i really tried to apply it evenly.

Great Results in late fall on new seedlings
By Matt on 12/07/2020
I used this in combination with the tank mixing rate of Triclopyr on TTTF/KBG seedlings that were ~ 6 weeks old. Chickweed and oxalis were the major problems and these weeds disappeared within ~2 weeks with no visible turf injury. Other broadleaf weeds had similar results. The application was made in mid November in Richmond so high temps were still in the 60s.

This stuff works!
By Jason on 10/09/2020
For the past several years I had been searching for a product to eliminate the wood sorrel throughout my yard. I came across this product and thought I would give it a try. I had several large patched of wood sorrel throughout my large yard. I spot treated it once with great success, within 24 hours you could see the weeds dying and within a week they had withered down to almost nothing. I spot treated again several weeks later and currently have eliminated this pesky weed from my yard with only 2 spot treatments. I highly recommend this product if you are trying to find a product that is very effective in wood sorrel treatment.

Works on MOST broadleaf weeds.
By Samson on 10/02/2020
This is the second time I have used this on my lawn. Upfront, why I only gave it 4 stars because it doesn't completely kill some types of broadleaf despite what the label says. It does however does a fantastic job otherwise. I followed the instructions per label and went to war with a lawn that was completely neglected for a few years. Pros: 1. Doesn't harm cool season grass. I have tall fescue. 2. Completely Killed white clover, henbits, spotted spurge, Japanese clover, and dandelion. You notice patches of dark brown in your lawn after it has done its job. 3. Small dose. A bottle will last several applications for a half an acre lot of lawn. Cons: 1. Only killed about half of Indian mock strawberries, plantains, wild garlic, and some sort of ivy that I cant identify. 2. Slow. This thing works overtime and you must give it 14 days to do its thing. It killed some species of weed within a few days but on some it took 10 days or so to kill them off. Helpful notes: things to consider. Check forecast and apply a few days before rain, it works better when it is warm (at least 75 or above) for 3 consecutive days.
