You can mix and apply other herbicides with SpeedZone Southern Herbicide as long as you first perform a small jar test for compatability. You also need to be sure to follow the most restrictive label when mixing products, and be sure that you are using the correct rates for each product. Keep in mind, also, that pre-emergent herbicides will need to be watered in with rainfall or irrigation within the amount of time specified on the label, while a post-emergent like the SpeedZone Southern should have at least 24 hours without rainfall or irrigation for best results.
Please note that Speedzone Southern has been discontinued and replaced with Speedzone Southern Herbicide EW.
According to the product label, SpeedZone Southern Herbicide should not be applied to susceptible crops or other desirable broadleaf plants including but not limited to cotton, tomatoes, legumes, tomatoes, or other vegetables, and ornamentals (such as flowers, trees, and shrubs).
SpeedZone Southern Herbicide is not specifically labeled for lady’s thumb (redshank). Please provide your desired turf for an alternate recommendation.
SpeedZone Southern Herbicide treated areas are safe to walk on once dry. A few hours after application should have been enough time for this to happen. Just be sure no areas are wet before allowing contact.

As long as the two labels are not competing on where you are allowed to use them, and you follow the more restrictive label for application you should be able to tank mix the two with no problem. Always do a tank mix text first to ensure no adverse reactions and spot treat an area before treating the whole yard with the mixture.
Post-emergent herbicides are not recommended to be used in a hose end sprayer because those sprayers are not accurate enough to apply the correct amount of SpeedZone Southern Herbicide. You will need to use a hand pump sprayer and uniformly spray the product over the specified area. To decide how much water you want to use, you should mark a 1,000 sq ft area, fill your sprayer with water ONLY, and start walking and spraying just as if you were doing the actual application of herbicide. When you are done walking and spraying the 1,000 sq ft area note how much water it took you to spray that area, and that is the amount you will want to mix of product with for each 1,000 sq ft area that needs to be treated. The rate you would then use depends on your lawn type, please refer to the product label for complete instructions.
