Spray Indicators

Spray indicators are colored products added to products like herbicides, insecticides, and fertilizers, to help you see where you spray for proper application. The color can remain visible for a few hours up to a few days, and is usually blue or green.

Even, thorough application of spray-tank applied products is a big part of getting successful results to your application. When applying a product with a tank sprayer, can be easy to accidentally skip some areas, over-apply in others, and have an overall uneven application spray pattern. Adding a colored spray indicator will help you see exactly where you have sprayed the product, giving you the best chance of uniform application and excellent results.

No matter what product you choose to use, adding spray indicators to the mixture will give you several advantages when mixed with your chosen product:

  • Helps inexperienced applicators develop the right spray technique by allowing visibility of the applied product.
  • Identifies damaged or clogged nozzles
  • Wind drift is easier to see, so you can adjust your spraying
  • Can even designate areas of future weed control, pest control, and other landscape concerns
