    Yes, you can mix two cool season turf grass blends such as 5 Star Fescue Extreme Shade Mix and Pennington Annual Ryegrass. If Fescue is the main turf grass desired, be sure your Fescue to Rye ratio favors more on the fescue side.

    Located in North Alabama, Zone 7. Hard clay with very little topsoil. 2-3 hrs filtered sunlight per day.
