5 Star Fescue Extreme Shade Mix is professionally formulated to withstand drought stress caused by tree root competition. It also thrives well in areas with high or low fertility with little or no irrigation. Shade-tolerant and was made with A-LIST certified tall fescues with three distinct types of fine fescue. It also rhizomatous, which helps in making your lawns green and healthy. Contains 30% Tall Fescue Cayenne, 30% Tall Fescue Mustang 4, 20% CRF Garnet, 10% Hard Fescue Spartan II and 10% Chewings Fescue Windward. Apply at the rate of 5 lb per 1,000 sq. ft. for new lawns, or 2-3 lb. per 1,000 sq. ft. for overseeding.
