Do not buy, none of seed came up , smelled look moldy

Seeded multiple areas of yard where warm season grass would not grow, literally bare dirt, light shade. Aerated, added compost, scarified ground multiple times, added starter fertilizer and planted seed, top dressed with peat moss. Watered 3 times a day and within 5 days had grass!!!! It has continued to grow thicker. I bought more seed to have extra because I used every bit of the 25 pounds Initially purchased. Love it!

Seed is great, but this year waited too long to overseed. (3 month drought). Planted late September,...grass is slow germinating and growing. Early September planting is better.

After nearly 2 weeks, with 2x daily misting, and 3x weekly heavy watering, still no gemination

Most grass seed will start growing in about 10-14 days, but sometimes it can take up to 30 days. Because you have seen some signs of growth with the 5 Star Fescue Grass Seed Blend, we suggest waiting to see if there is any more growth within the next week. It likely could just use a little more time.

Put this seed out immediately after lawn core aeration. Lightly watered several times a day. Germination noticed within 4 days and continuing. With better fall weather, hopefully will fill in nicely.

First time seeder here. Prepared barren, compacted ground by aerating and scarifying, spreading seed and fertilizer, topping with peat moss (1,000 sq ft) Watered 3 times a day, had germination starting at day 5, looks complete at day 8….Amazing is all I can say. Waiting a few weeks to seed larger area (2,000 sq ft) and overseeding another. So happy to have lots of hoses and hose timers since we don't have an in ground irrigation system. Love seeing green grass instead of bare ground.

I am so happy I bought this product. Just bought this home in Fort Worth, Texas. There was hardly no grass growing under this oak tree and all the other grass around the yard was just brown and ugly. So I rake the yard to get debris and trash out, laid some cheap Scott's brand landscaping dirt $1.65 per bag… rake dirt over yard and the seeded, also bought the most highly recommend fertilizer for starting off new seed with (I did not over do it with the fertilizer). I seeded the lawn then used a old fashion rake to rake it in the went behind it with a cultivator. Made sure lawn irrigation system was set to water twice a day for 15 minutes. I went out of town for 3 weeks… came back and my yard is extremely beautiful!! I am truly amazed… my neighbors keep asking me what the heck did I put on it cause no one could get this grass to grow for many years. So now you have won me over and I will keep coming back to the pros… and yes even refer my neighbors to you!! Thank you all so much for your post, and reviews on this product it helped me make the best decision for my lawn care!! I am truly a happy customer!!

Did a late summer planting of this last year,(Mid August), as we didn't have the option to water the seed. Got enough rain to get it going with most spouting within 2 weeks. Has really taken off nicely since. Picked up this order to fill in any thinner spots.

I haven't gotten any seed or sod to work in the shady part of the yard u til now! This seed is growing beautiful grass. Mixed it with new dirt and fertilizer. Watering and watching it grow. It's worth a try at your place.

Came right on time. We've sown the grass and our lawn is transforming from UGH! To WOW! We'll see what happens as spring progresses into summer.
