Steri-Fab does have a distinct odor that smells somewhat like alcohol, but it will dissipate as the spray dries. We suggest airing out the room by using a fan and/or opening windows and allowing the treatment to dry completely (usually at least 20 minutes) before replacing linens on the bed. If the mattress still has an odor after over an hour, then you may have applied too much product and it will just take longer to air out.
Sterifab can be used on surfaces and articles including cracks, crevices, seams, creases, and folds of mattresses or other furniture, rugs and carpets, animal quarters and surrounding areas, restroom surfaces, non-porous and non-food contact surfaces in kitchens, other non-porous surfaces.
