Straight Arrow Mane N Tail Shampoo

DIRECTIONS FOR USE:

1. First, gather what you'll need: a hose, a bucket, several big sponges, the Original Mane N Tail Shampoo and Conditioner, and perhaps, a rubber mitt, a scraper and a few towels.
2. Next, wet your horse all over. With the water comfortably warm, work the water stream upwards slowly from the front hooves and lower legs, always pointing the spray away from his head. Next, from the neck, go down his back, down his flanks and high legs, and under his body. Finally, lift the tail, spray well under the tail and down between the legs, and then hose down the tail itself.
3. Drop a sponge into an empty bucket, adding warm water, then pouring the shampoo on top of the sponge and adding more warm water at the same time to build suds.
4. Using a round on round motion, start soaping the neck, then the front legs, back, flanks, under the body, and down the hind legs. When cleaning under the tail area and between the hind legs, use a different sponge reserved for that area with plenty of water.
5. For the tail, dump the tail into the bucket to re-wet it. Soap it well and work the soap in thoroughly with your fingers, all the way to the end of the tail, adding water to keep it sudsy.
6. Return to the mane using your fingers, or maybe your rubber mitt, work the suds in right down to the roots. Then go over the whole body again in the same order.
7. Don't forget to rinse thoroughly. 
8. When washing the horse's face, do it gently with the sponge or wash cloth. Try to stay away from the eye area.
