If you have existing bedstraw to control, then you can use a broadleaf post-emergent herbicide such as Prime Source Triad SFZ Select Herbicide.

Per the product label for Surflan AS Herbicide: Maintain continuous agitation from mixing through application. You may need to use a smaller sprayer or stop to agitate more frequently if you are getting uneven coverage. There is an order listed for tank mixing to insure proper dilution. For example, if you are using a Roundup that is a wettable powder or granule, you would add and mix that product before adding the Surflan.
