  • Asked by Dale from Washington, Dc
    12/18/2017
    Q
Is Suspend Polyzone effective against Bethylidae?
The label says it's effective against wasps, but there are many types of wasps, and I would like to know if it is effective against these specific wasps.
    A

Yes, you could potentially use Suspend Polyzone as part of treatment for any type of wasp since this is a non-selective insecticide. We have a great Wasp and Hornet Control Kit which includes Cyzmic CS and Wasp-X for direct treating nests outdoors. If you would like to tell us more about where you are treating, then we can make more detailed product recommendations for you.

  • Asked by Amy from Prescott, Az
    02/05/2018
    Q
Can you spray grass with Suspend Polyzone?
We are trying to get rid of clover mites.
    A

Suspend Polyzone is not specifically labeled for clover mites. We would suggest applying Bifen IT. Bifen IT is labeled to treat for clover mites when used accordingly. Clover mites are barely smaller than a pinhead. You may notice clover mites as dark red moving specks which occur in large numbers. They are generally found crawling aroudn doors, windows, sidings, curtains, or furniture. Be sure to treat the ground at least 5-10 feet from the structure where you are seeing the clover mites.

  • Asked by Margaret from Hallandale Beach, Fl
    03/10/2018
    Q
Is Suspend Polyzone pet friendly/odor free?
I have been using RAID to kill roaches that have infiltrated our hallway since a new tenant moved in next door to me. I spray every morning and evening - and then because I have COPD, my lungs hurt and I get asthma attacks.
    A

Suspend Polyzone is safe in homes that have children and pets if used as directed on the product label. They should not be in the treated area during application and when the surfaces are wet. They can re-enter when completely dried. The scent has a sweet characteristic, mild odor that eventually dissipates. We recommend that you do not spray with any liquids if your lungs hurt and you have asthma attacks and COPD. We recommend that you apply a professional roach bait gel such as the Maxforce bait stations and consult with your doctor for treatments that are safe for you. We do offer non-poisonous glue boards also.

  • Asked by Stewart from Chandler, Ok
    03/16/2018
    Q
    Longest lasting
I have been using Bifen for the past couple years with good results, but would like something that last 90 days or longer outside. what would you recommend that could be used less often with similar results and preferably not made by Bayer, unless theirs is far superior?
    A

Suspend Polyzone would last 90 days outside.  Another option is a microencapsulated product like Cyzmic CS which can last 60-90 days outside.

  • Asked by Len from Chandler, Az
    05/24/2018
    Q
Is Suspend Polyzone used against scorpions?
    A

Suspend Polyzone can be used for scorpions.  Per the product label: Treat areas where scorpions may hide. Treat known or suspected harborages on and around exterior walls. Apply spot treatments into cracks, crevices, weep holes or other access points into hollow block walls or masonry veneer. Spray around and beneath stones and along rocky areas. Scorpions will often harbor beneath the bark on trees, so inspect these areas and treat as required. When possible, remove piles of debris and building materials near the exterior wall that can harbor the pests. Apply a perimeter treatment to the exterior walls and adjacent soil. You may treat around piles of firewood, but do not treat firewood with this product

  • Asked by Bruce from Reynoldsville, Pa
    06/22/2018
    Q
What mixture would you recommend using Suspend Polyzone spraying outside for spiders and fleas?
I'm in an apt. which I would spray the grassy areas front and back... as well spray the short concrete walkways and porch areas in front and back.
    A

Suspend Polyzone has a wide range of dilution rates, from 0.25 – 1.5 oz per gal of water. The middle rate of 0.75 oz per gal of water should work well for prevention and maintenance. You can use the higher rate of 1.5 oz if you are already seeing a lot of insects and/or spiders and need the cleanout. While you can treat along the edges of concrete areas, you should never treat as a broadcast all over impervious surfaces such as concrete.
