Yes, Talstar P is labeled for and will help eliminate bees. To use Talstar P for carpenter bee control you should mix 1 oz of Talstar per 1 gallon of water and spray the areas where you have noticed activity such as the eaves, fascia boards, moldings, overhangs, or siding. You should reapply the Talstar P once a month through the warm season for the best results. Please note that Talstar P will not offer an instant knockdown of insects, it will take several minutes to a few hours for them to die after they come into contact with treated areas. We also recommend dusting the carpenter bee holes with dust such as Tempo Dust to help kill any larva inside. Do not plug the holes for at least 30 days after dusting to prevent the developing larva from drilling a new hole to exit.

The best way to keep insects out of the home is through thorough exclusion methods. This includes caulking cracks and crevices around window frames and door frames, sealing up gaps around pipes or wires that enter the home, patching any holes or gaps in soffits, siding or brick, checking and replacing weather stripping around doors, checking for holes in screens, etc. Even the best insecticides on the market are not going to absorb into an insects body faster than it could potentially crawl over that surface and make its way into a gap or crack in the home. Thorough and regular treatments around the perimeter of the home and yard will help reduce insect populations over time as well to keep the amount alive or present that could get into the home down to a minimum. Onslaught FastCap is a great solution for quicker knock down of initial insect populations when you treat, and provides a broad spectrum of insects it can control. Its residual is roughly 1-2 months per spray outdoors, and at least 3 -6 months indoors.
Talstar P (Talstar One) will only kill those bugs that contact a treated area and states on the product label it should not be used alone for effective eliminate of bed bugs. This residual can last up to 90 days inside along baseboard, cracks and crevices, etc. It will not prevent a reinfestation. Typically, one product will not do the job. That's why we offer our Bed Bug Kits which have multiple products that are used in different areas in the bedroom and that do different things. The kit is exactly the products that a professional company would use and charge you hundreds of dollars to apply. All of our kits come with full instructions on where to apply each product. We make it easy as possible for you to treat your own bed bug problem, and our kits have a very high success rate when used correctly.
We also have a helpful prevention guide here.
Talstar P (Talstar One) dries within approx. 2 hours. After that rain will not wash it away for at least 2-3 months. Irrigating after spraying will only wash the product away. Most recommended insecticide sprayers use a range of 30-150 PSI. Higher-range PSI will tend to break down the insecticide.
