I got great service from DoMyOwnPestControl, the product arrived early in perfect shape. Talstar One is based on Bifenthrin which is a pyrethroid insecticide that affects the nervous system of insects. It is a great general insecticide that will kill most insect in and around your yard including termites. Bifenthrin is virtually insoluble in water with a solubility of 0.1 mg/L. Given its low solubility, bifenthrin has high persistence in soil with a half life between 7 days and 8 months. It is the longest residual termiticide currently registered on the market today. Talstar One is highly toxic to fish since it is also an ATPase inhibitor. Aquatic vertebrates are much more sensitive to ATPase inhibitors than terrestrial vertebrates due to their high dependence on ATP synthesis in the gills to maintain osmotic balance. Talstar One is also toxic to most dogs and pets until it dries. For yard treatment where animals are kept, I would not let them back in the area for at least 12 to 24 hours. For Treatment I would cover your skin, wear eye protection from mist or slash and wear a certified respirator during application. I wear a heavy shirt with rubber gloves that goes up to my shoulders and jean. Once complete, just for safety, I take a shower after the treatment. It is a great product, I use it once a month on my yard with great results, but remember this is a commercial grade product with 7.9% of Bifenthrin and must be treats with much more safety than low grade chemicals from Walmart or Home Depot.

I am amazed with the Talstar! We are in an area (my home and work) with box elder trees all over the area. I used your product at both places and cannot believe that the box elder bugs are nearly all gone. I am very impressed with your product and would recommend it highly.

Good product, prompt delivery! Battling stink bugs in Virginia. I don't know if we are winning the battle or not. These critters are everywhere and awfully hard to kill, but this stuff seems to work better than anything I've tried so far. They don't drop dead immediately when sprayed but most do keel over in a few hours. If the goverment released these miserable pests to control lady bugs as the rumor has it, then they better turn loose of some DDT before they destroy all our homes and crops!

Very satisfied with this product!!! I treated my backyard with this spray because we live right on a canal in FL.  Of all the places in the world we have a mass amount of mosquitoes, they would literally be waiting for us to walk outside to get their fix of blood, hundreds of them. My kids and I were walking blood banks for these guys, I was very doubtful at first. Within 2 days I have seen absolutely no mosquitoes in my yard. It eliminated all of them from my yard, it is still going strong for 2 mos. I do still have a problem with no-see-ums but as for the vampire bugs, astalavista BABY!!!!!!!!

Talstar P is the best all round pest control I have found and it has a 3+ month residual if applied at the heavier rates. The issue is cost and that is where DoMyOwn really stood out. I searched everywhere for price and they were absolutely the best of any reputable site. I also was impressed that they include shipping in that price. I received my gallon shipment in 3 days.

I have bought the Talstar One specifically to target an increasing population of stink bugs in and out of the house. Overall, it has done a very good job rapidly decreasing their population. However I get to see a couple of them around the house every day, not completely gone.

Does not work on contact, but it will kill them in about 20 minutes. The stick bugs will usually flip over and die. I use Talstar only outdoors around windows, doors, siding or anyplace I find them hiding. I also like the fact the Talstar has no scent.

Nice pre-measure dispensing; no slopping. Used in large droplet hand sprayer for soil ants. We're going to brush this product on door jambs for Asian stinkbug control when they come back in the fall.  Ordered too late to make it worthwhile at this time.

Product appears to move the "crazy ants" from one place to another. BUT it removes them from around the house. So far I am satisfied with this product.

i worked pest control for a couple of years and our company switched from tempo to talstar p. i was very impressed with its quick kill and staying power then. i was thrilled to find that i could get and use this great product in my own home.

I have been using this product for about five years with excellent results on all kinds of insects. I spray our home and some of my close friends homes, this has saved them and myself at least $2,555.Oo dollars during this time span even when I deduct the cost of talstar one . This is the same product that my former exterminator was using and I spray more often than he did. My wife does not want to see any pest period!!!! thanks for making it available I also use other products from your company and am very satisfied with the price and their performance.

We haven't experienced the onslaught of last year yet due to the ultra high temps, so I can't make a fair assessment of this product. I'll let you know. I can only say that I have researched this product extensively prior to purchase and everything indicates this is at least ONE of the best chemicals on the market for these nusiance pests. I work at Home Depot part time and haven't seen any other product that come close. Until GOD comes up with a better plan I'll use the Talstar P... thanx! Rick

Sprayed barrier around building about 1 week ago, seems to work but has only been short time. Definitely kills on contact.

I have used Talstar for a few ant treatments and I must say that the product works around the perimeter in and outside of the home. The only reason this gets a 4 star is because it is not as residual as some products on the market. In humid weather, like in Tennessee, this product comes off with ease and can allow the new infestations of creatures to come into the house.

I used the product after watching the how to video on line. I had high hopes to control my ants and spiders mainly. I was happy right away. Now after a few weeks, still no intruders. Beautiful! I intend on using Talstar P every 2 months or so on my house and around my shop!

I purchased Talstar P to use indoors along with the outdoor treatment recommended. I found the product to do a great job for a mild springtail infestation. I do already have terminex as a preventative, and they did their best to deal with the issues, coming to our home weekly. I find a couple springtails here and there in the home near windows, but nothing like before. I would definitely recommend this product.

My fiance and I used the Talstar on the 14 acre residential farmette we are getting married on. We sprayed on Talstar on Saturday and Sunday (a week before the wedding) and on Sunday evening we noticed significantly less creatures. When reading through the Talstar booklet no where does it indicate exactly how to apply the product. We bought a bug sprayer from a local hardware store and mixed the Talstar concentrate with water. Then we sprayed the fields on the farm and patio. The wedding is in five days and the booklet claims this product will keep pests away for one month. We'll see how the wedding goes on Saturday.

One day after spraying you could see a line of dead insects around the perimeter of the house. I am very pleased with this product. I have since recommended it to many of my friends

We've had a severe problem with stinkbugs all over the outside of the house during the fall months over the last four years. I never even knew what a stinkbug was before that. I've tried everything with only minimal & temporary results, until now. I came across Talstar P during my online research and ordered this product from DoMyOwnPestControl. They also appeared to have a very good rating online. The product arrived within a week of ordering. Upon opening the box, I discovered that the contents had leaked all over the container & inside the box. Upon further inspection, I realized the seal on one of the caps was half opened! Now, I've got all kinds of thoughts running through my mind. Was it a defective seal? Was it opened and diluted before sale? I still don't know but the spillage appeared minimal so I didn't make it an issue. I sprayed it on the outside of my brick rancher around the doors and windows & made sure to give each stinkbug a special dose. Nothing! Stinkbugs were still everywhere. However, a day later, I began to notice that fewer & fewer stinkbugs were present. Now, weeks later I may see a rare 3 or 4 and they don't seem to want to stick around! I prefer to give the vendor the benefit of the doubt on the open seal but there is no doubt on the effectiveness of their product!

I would recommend this stuff to anyone, it is good for stink bugs. Does not smell and easy to mix and apply. Do My Own Pest Control is an excellent place to do business with.

Bought it to combat our tick problem. Easy to order, got to us quickly. Sprayed our yard and garage with it and it kills ticks pretty well. Not as much residual action as I hoped but works for 3 or 4 days. Sprayed twice now, a week apart hopefully one more spraying will do the trick. Will probably buy again as it works better than anything else I have found locally.

Sprayer works great. Lasts a long time on each pressurization. Wish it had some kind of strap to hold it on your shoulder to keep from tiring out your hands from carrying it.

Use it a ton in my MO lake yard...and it kills all those chiggers. I need to do just 2 times, once when the chiggers season begins in June...then perhaps another times mid summer if there has been a ton of rain. I also use in my Florida yard and does a great job.

We, at times, have had a slight roach problem in the past and I wanted to spray a little early inside and out and get the jump on any problem that might come up later on. Waiting too long in treatment for some pest's just makes the treatments more bothersome and expensive. Don't wait to see more roaches, one is enough. Strike first and fast with Talstar P.

Talstar P has eliminated my carpenter ant problem in very positive way. No residual odor and so far, no retreatment of the area. Very impressed with the product.

I'd give it 5 stars although it's just a little too soon to rate it at a 5. I applied this (Talstar P) on our St Augustine lawn to control Chinch bugs. So far I have not seen any turf damage after applying Talstar 2 1/2 weeks ago. I'm not sure about the timing of when the Chinch bugs do their damage but from reading the results of other reviews on this site I feel confident that this product will do the job it was intended to do. If it works well for me throughout the summer months I will be using this product to help maintain my lawn for years to come. So far so good, no bugs insight after a close inspection of my lawn deep down to the root! Thank You Tony C St Augusine, FL
