Tried all types of sprays etc. Used Bug Be Gone and others. The mounds kept popping up. They are destroying my lawn and my neighbors lawns too.AYes, Talstar XTRA Granules is labeled for mole crickets, and would certainly take care of them in you lawn. It would also provide you with a 2-3 month residual as well.Â

Talstar Xtra granules is not labeled for control of chiggers and definitely would not be recommended for control of that pest. A much better option would be an insecticide like Onslaught Insecticide to be mixed with water and sprayed in the areas chiggers harbor around the property. Treatments …
Read Full Answer »Talstar Xtra granules is not labeled for control of chiggers and definitely would not be recommended for control of that pest. A much better option would be an insecticide like Onslaught Insecticide to be mixed with water and sprayed in the areas chiggers harbor around the property. Treatments for chiggers should begin in April/May and could need to continue through the summer as new chiggers move into the area. Treating the entire lawn is of little benefit because chiggers avoid direct sunlight and normally will not infest areas that are mowed or otherwise well maintained. Focus treatment on the unkempt areas of the lawn and lawn edge. You can also use Onslaught to do a barrier treatment around the outside of your home and in your crawl space to stop pests from moving indoors. -
