i saved over $700 doing my own subterranean termite treatment by using taurus sc treatment and youtube videos. years ago, i cancelled my termite service with a popular local termite service company that failed to show up for an appointment to treat my house. not only did they not show up, they did not even bother to call. my neighbors already like the idea of also cancelling their service and doing their own treatment and saving money. you can do it if you got the time .

Good stuff

The day after I laid Taurus we had 2 heavy rain storms. I was worried it would not be effective, the next day it was sunshine there were several hundred termites on the ground where we had the problem. They were actually moving a tiny bit, slowly dying and feeding the queen. The only thing is that its kinda hard to dig the trench.

There Tempo SC and Taurus SC. Both work well but I wonder what the difference is? My exterminator told Tempo has a repellant as well but if that is so which one is better for ants. One point to make to the novice user, doubling your dose just means your wasting a bunch of it. You can kill an ant with a hammer but it's complete overkill and you actually do more harm than good. It also does not wash away. Rain reactivates it.

We live on the east coast and our pest control has been done by a local company. This year they informed us that they needed to do booster treatment For termites and it will cost $600 plus the monthly treatments were $90 per month. That's when I started looking for something I could do myself. I found “do my own “ pesticide company, I bought Taurus SC and did it myself with guidance from the Do my own website. I treated for subterranean termites around my house by trenching and injection.

Fiancé told me we had carpenter ants in the shed so I did my research and it was between this and termidor. So I decided to go with this since it was a couple bucks cheaper and also had very good reviews! We went to the shed to spray and oh my goodness it was insane!! I did let out a scream when he lifted the boards because seeing that many carpenter ants is just scary haha. I got to spraying and I left it alone for about 5 days till I decided to go see if it worked or not. I seen that it could take a couple weeks to fully work so I was expecting there to be quite a bit of ants yet.... NOPE!!! It was so crazy seeing all of the dead ants! I'm so happy with this product! Mix it how the directions say and I'm sure you will have great results!!

In Phoenix, AZ we had issues for the 1st time ever with some type of small ants, around the edge of our swimming pool. We used this in a sprayer, mixed as recommended. The following day, they were completely gone. Thankful to have read the reviews on Taurus SC and purchased for the best price on DO MY OWN.

I tried multiple products to rid our house of carpenter ants and none of the baits specifically intended for carpenter ants worked, this stuff mixed to the right concentration rid us any ants in sight within I'd say a few days. We had ants on our roof in our covered patio, all over the place. After inspection a week later, I can't even find a single ant, they're all gone.

Taurus Sc is a great product for a wide range of critters. Recently move to a new house with lots of construction. Spiders where everywhere the next morning they were found dead in the driveway ,patio area and sidewalks where I can see. Definitely do not have ants. Highly recommend this product. Just read the instructions about leaving pets inside for 5 hrs after application

The crazy ants had infested our yard completely couldn't even walk in the yard without them crawling all over our feet. They were starting theIr take over of the house, in the bathrooms, both back bedrooms and starting into the kitchen. Sprayed the Taurus SC termiticide all around the yard, all around house. Two days later NO FREAKIN ANTS! We looked all through out the yard in the house and even looked under everything in the yard and no ants anywhere.

So far it has worked great, ants were terrible this year. Normally the occasional spraying of Telstar P keeps them out of the house, but not the tiny ants this year. Sprayed the barrier around the house with Taurus SC and then fed the ones staying in the house a 2/3 sugar to 1/3 borax mix and after a few says of letting them feast, no more ants. We have been about a month ant free with out any other actions. Should note that I tried the sugar/borax feeding before using the Taurus SC without success, the ants just kept coming from outside until the barrier was sprayed with the Taurus.
