I haven't used it yet but I am confident it will work. No problems ordering it but was delivered to wrong address and left outside. The house it was left at is not occupied but only visited from time to time so it was around 3 weeks before the people brought it to me. Very odd since I have deliveries quite often. None of that is the fault of the companies fault but rather the delivery company. Great price on product and will be ordering again as well as I have some friends that will be ordering too.

Product was received promptly and the video made the application easy. The instruction sheets fail to give a ratio for mixing the product. It talks of a 6 or 12 percent solution which for a do it yourself person, you have to get the calculator out and hope you got it right. The video says the 78 oz bottle will treat over 200 lineal feet but to wipe out an infestation, it's more like 80 to 90 feet

Taurus or Termidor are excellent for termites

I'm a 5'2" gal who used this product 12 years ago around my townhome and it wasn't too hard to apply and it worked wonderfully. I'm going to have it done again...just this time will pay my handyman to do the digging. It's a great product and far cheaper to DIY rather than pay a company to do it for you.

It took a long time to apply/ digging/ mixing/ pouring replacing soil and spraying soil but it has been four days of no rain so I hope this works against termites for at least seven years!!!! It may rain tonight so do You think It will wash away?!???

Rating based on ease to order, instructions, and ease to use. Guess we have to wait a bit to see if the ugly critters die off before I can rate the effectiveness. We do plan on doing the treatment every 3 years to play it safe.

Black carpenter ants

A neighbor had a tree eat up with black carpenter ants and they migrated to my detached garage. Nothing else I used to kill them even slowed them down! This product solved my problem and saved me a lot of money. No ants are in or even near my garage! It only took one application and the problem was solved.

Taurus SC Termiticide is easy to apply and effective. It is so difficult to find an honest professional to come out here and treat for these subterranean termites so we watched the DoMyOwn Video and then carefully applied accordingly. This project was as easy and as Professional as promoted. Next job will be to treat for weeds before the rain starts! We had noticed carpenter ants while doing some remodeling. Had already sprayed with a brand name from a bog box store. Used this to dig around the foundation and spread per instructions for termites and ants. Only been a few weeks - but haven't seen any evidence of infestation. Fingers crossed.

Had bought this for my elderly parents in Florida because of termites issues to the house. Had a pest treatment person come to dig a 6inch trench around the house and to also use a sprayer to spray/apply around the foundation of the house. So far so good, I heard the trench treatment lasts for 10 yrs and the sprayer only for 3-4 months. Will continue to use Do My Own products, they work excellent.

Did better than any big name hardware store termite treatments, by a looonnnng shot! Even had professionals in to treat, and some of their stuff helped, but THIS Taurus SC and then the Termidor FOAM (SC for outside areas & for garage rafters, coupled with the FOAM for inside baseboard seams, window seams, doors, and behind air-blow vent covers) totally chased the termites off/killed 'em. We used the recommended measurements in a basic hand pump sprayer. No regrets!! All the money we wasted on hardware store treatments completely upsets us! Sure wish we had known about this stuff FIRST! Recommended to friends already. Thank you DoMyOwn!

I'm using a 2 gallon sprayer to apply this to the foundation of my Florida house. The container has a very easy-to-use self-measuring system which I then dilute with two gallons of water. I simply start going around my house using a stream setting on the sprayer tip soaking the concrete foundation to preemptively protect against termites coming up into the house structure. I noticed that fire ants living next to the steps at the front of the house were killed which is a good sign that this is an effective insecticide.

Easy to use

simple to mix and use. My only problem was pouring it into the 1/2 inch holes I drilled into my house concrete slab....alongside a crack in the slab which the termites used to get into the house... which I had first sealed up. This was only because the ground would absorb only a small amount of liquid at a time... so it was pour a little, wait a couple minutes, then pour a little more, wait, pour, wait pour.... and so on. This took a LOT of time to do in some spots. I did drill into the ground deeper than the slab was, which I'm sure helped some, but it is all dependent on the ability of the ground to absorb liquid... and a gallon per hole is a lot of liquid ! Taurus was fine and easy, the ground under the slab was not !

Amazing for Ants

Okay, I used to use this product professionally for Ants. However, anything else that would encounter this product would die as well. It works best if you find Ants that are trailing. Spray a mist over them and then just let them walk through it for a couple of hours. Within a day or two, you will notice that you can't find an Ant. Don't over use. DIYers tend to think it should kill on contact. It wouldn't work well for ants at all if that was the way it worked. No need to drown them in this product. They get it on themselves and take it back to the nest then they all die. Having said all of that, there are some ants that should be baited. Fire Ants and Phararoh Ants responded better to bait in my experience. But, if you could only buy one product to spray around your house.. This is the one.. please read the label and apply accordingly. This is a real pro level product and should be used as such.

I just bought a house and my termite and evasive insect inspection did not bring up anything about carpenter ants. After we moved we found that they were everywhere (not in the house in the trees on the property). I sprayed around my house and affected trees, in just a few days we went from seeing them on the sidewalk. to see them carrying the dead ants elsewhere. After a week we have not seen a single one. My new neighbor saw me spraying and started a conversation, I let him use some and it fixed his issue as well. We are both going to be purchasing more to keep our property safe!

I am very pleased with my recent purchase of Taurus SC. The carpenter ants were having their way with my wooden deck and had become a serious problem that the replants and lesser store bought termination products were ineffective in treating. After only 2 days of application all the ants are gone!
