Had a reoccurring problem with ants in the yard. Tried other pest control products with no positive results. One application of Taurus SC and problem solved!

We were plagued with ants. Little Argentine ants, but also much worse, Carpenter ants. We tried all the commercial bait traps and sprays, but their effect was only spotty and very temporary: the little critters would be back in days, in a different location, especially if was raining outside. They would find their way in. Then we tried perimeter spray with Taurus SC. THEY ARE GONE! For months and months. No more little armies trailing across the floor. No more busy carpenters chewing away at the wooden borders and decking. Just two 15-minute sprayings a year and the problems are solved! Mixing is very easy with the self-measuring dispenser bottle. And a hand-held garden sprayer works just fine. You must be very careful handling this material as it is quite toxic while wet. Be sure to follow the diections to a "T". Use only outdoors around the perimeter and on all wooden borders. Avoid windy weather and do not let the solution get on you or your clothing. And, of course, keep pets and children away from the area until the pesticide is thoroughly absorbed into the soil and dry. Taurus SC is designed to be a profession-use termiticide, requiring trenching and soil injection, at much higher concentrations, PPE, etc. - a job probably best left to professional exterminators. But as a treatment for ants?... It just works! Better than anything else.

Per evidence-based research, used to target specific species of yellow jacket infestation in PNW. Now the biosphere on my 5 acres is normalized, appropriate number of yellow jacket ratio to other insects. Extremely pleased with product, packaging of product, and delivery. Pay attention to use of PPE w/product, and how to store/dispose.

Purchased this product because termites got into my home. Followed the directions carefully and I'd say within a week noticed termites dying and no trails anymore. I would highly recommend this product.

I have been using Taurus SC, twice a year for about a decade. Our area has a terrible problem with voracious carpenter ants, but we have had NO problems since I started the perimeter trearments. The user must understand that this is NOT a knockdown treatment; rather, it will take several weeks after the first .06% surface exterior perimeter treatment, according to instructions, for the colonies to be killed. After that, semiannual .03% surface perimeter treatments will prevent any further infestations. Residual remains in the soil and on the foundation walls and wood products for up to six months, so extra treatments are not needed for carpenter ants. Caution: Fipronil is quite toxic, so pets must be kept away from the treated areas. Also, take much care to avoid getting any overspray on yourself or your clothes: promptly launder your clothes and wash your hands/body thoroughly immediately after any accidental contact. And, of course, absolutely do NOT use in windy conditions. Also note that carpenter ant treatments are for surface soil, foundation walls, and wood (furniture bases, railroad ties, tree bases). Trenching is NOT necessary (unlike it is necessary for termite treatments).

Works great and last, I used it five years ago. Here in southern Arizona, there are two types of homes those with termites and those that are getting termites. I've used both the high dollar stuff and this found no difference.

This stuff is incredible!! I have had a really bad ant problem for years. None of the Home Depot stuff ever worked. I like to sit on the porch in the mornings and have coffee. I kept getting ants crawling all over my shoes and legs any time I sat on the porch. I googled what really works and found Taurus SC. I applied this to my lawn and foundation the way the instructions say and I figured it would take a while to see results. The next morning I couldn't find an ant anywhere!! I have also noticed that the spiders are gone too. And the best part is this stuff kills termites too. This will be my go to product for controlling ants and termites from now on.

What I like about Taurus SC is that it’s a cost effective product comparable to Termidor SC a well known Termiticide and Insecticide but almost double the price compared to Taurus SC, great product!!

Called my exterminator and they wanted $500 to do the preventive borrowing termite treatment. Ordered the Taurus SC, did the small trench at the house base, mixed per instructions and poured. 2-3 hours work to save $400 seemed worth while.

Taurus SC Termiticide was outstanding in performance by eleminating the Ant problem around in my house, large workshop, and property of my acre of land, after 36 hours of applying. After the sprayed application had dried, in was not harmful to my small dogs.

Product works great! I was using for ants in & around the back yard. The ants are gone & haven't seen any other pests coming around since application. It hasn't messed with the lizards or frogs either. I also sprayed some plants & trees that had some spider mites on them & they also were eliminated. Very easy directions, just mix & spray.

we had crazy ants everywhere. Sprayed with Taurus SC and they are gone. My used this at his home which built on piers and all the ants are gone. Very good product

This product is the active ingredient in Frontline and I dilute it to spray on my horses. It works GREAT to control ticks and is SO much less expensive.

Last year in the northwest, it was one of the worst years ever for wasps and hornets. This spring as soon as the temps came up we noticed that the wasps and hornets were starting to be a problem again. After some research on-line I discovered that products with Fipronil can be quite effective. After one complete application around my property and buildings I have not seen any wasps or hornets since. I'm sure that once it gets hot we will see more but I'm betting this product will knock them down again.

i think taurus sc works well at stoping ants from coming in the house,i dont ever want to wast my time or money with other ant killing products,that dont really work very well,or last very long,taurus sc is a termiticide,but it also is very effective against ants, thanks you,domyownpestcontrol.com
