If you have vents that blow air through theattic and into the home caution should be used to take care the dust is not blown through the vents.

While it is possible for trace amounts of an insecticide dust to be carried out of a nest that you have treated, usually insects like yellow jackets or other wasps will transfer the dust to other insects in that nest rather than to insects outside their nest. Of course, we do not recommend applying Tempo 1% Dust or similar products directly to pollinators or to flowering plants.
