Yes, Tempo SC Ultra can be applied at a rate of 8 ml of Tempo per 1000 square feet for chiggers. The amount of water depends on how much you need to apply the 8 ml over the area. It can be mixed with a few gallons of water, or 10 gallons of water, just as long as the 8 ml is applied over the 1000 square feet. Treatments for chiggers should begin in April/May and could need to continue through the summer as new chiggers move into the area. Treating the entire lawn is of little benefit because chiggers avoid direct sunlight and normally will not infest areas that are mowed or otherwise well maintained. Focus treatment on the unkept areas of the lawn and lawn edge. You can also use Tempo SC Ultra as a barrier treatment around the outside of your home and in your crawl space to stop pests from moving indoors.
Tempo SC Ultra should not be applied to edibles including sweet corn. Please let us know the targeted pest(s) and we will be happy to offer another product recommendation that will fit your needs. We look forward to hearing from you soon. Thank you!
While Tempo SC Ultra can be used to kill honey bees, we recommend that you first contact your local cooperative extension office and ask them to help you find a local bee removal service if at all possible, as honey bees are in steep decline and the law dictates they should only be killed after a bee keeper has been consulted and cannot help safely remove the colony.

Tempo SC Ultra is usually best mixed with 1 gallon of water since it has such low dilution rates. You would use 8-16 ml or 0.27 to .054 fl oz per gallon of water, so for a quart sprayer (be sure it is not a trigger sprayer; it must be a pump sprayer) you would just divide that by 4 (since there are 4 quarts in a gallon), which would equal 2-4 ml or 0.07 to 0.14 fl oz. Please refer to the product label for the rate based on your target pest.
Tempo SC Ultra can harm a cat if they ingest a large quantity of the actual product or mixed solution. Pets should be out of the treated area until dry and then the small amount left behind would not be enough to harm a pet if they were to contact after.
