Yes, Temprid FX Insecticide can be applied to all shrubs, trees, and other foliage around the house or where you are trying to provide relief. It should be directed not only on top of the leaves and plants but on the underside of the leaves as well which is where the mosquitoes hang out during the heat of the day.
Temprid FX Insecticide should be mixed at a minimum rate of 8ml per gallon of water per the manufacturer. Rates lower than that would be considered off label and may not be as effective.
If treating for bedbugs, you will apply 8 ml of Temprid FX Insecticide? per gallon of water per 1,000 sq ft. It can be applied in 7-10 days. You would use the higher rate of 16 milliliters (0.54 fluid ounces) per 1 gallon of water for faster knockdown of flying insects, like hornets, wasps, and yellow jackets. Please follow the label instructions.
Yes, Temprid FX Insecticide is a residual product. You will want to treat every 7-10 days until there is no activity of bed bugs for 30 days straight. Please look over the product label before making your application. Also, we would recommend incorporating a product like CimeXa into your treatment plan for hard to reach areas where you cannot spray a liquid insectide, like behind the face plates of electrical outlets for example. Please take a moment to review our How to Get Rid of Bed Bugs Guide for more information on implementing a successful treatment plan.
You can apply Temprid FX Insecticide to tufts, seams, folds, and edges until moist. Allow the application to dry before remaking the bed as directed on the product label.
Temprid FX Insecticide cannot be applied to countertops/backsplashes. Per the product label to treat for listed indoor pests: treat entry points, such as around water pipes, doors, windows, and eaves. Treat areas where pests normally feed or hide, such as baseboards, corners, around water pipes, behind or under refrigerators, cabinets, sinks, and stoves.
We recommend applying products like Temprid FX Insecticide after a heat treatment is completed. The heat can breakdown the active ingredients.
Temprid FX Insecticide is an excellent choice for treating the inside and outside cracks and crevices for spiders and many other listed pests. For more information on treating spiders, please take a few moments to review our treatment article on How to Get Rid of Spiders for more information.
You may spray Temprid FX Insecticide and use an Alpine Roach Bait Gel in a different area. You do not want to apply the bait to the same areas where you have treated with Temprid FX Insecticide. You may want to look over our articles on How to Get Rid of Roaches for more information.
Temprid FX Insecticide would be effective against June bugs when applied according to the instructions on the product label. You would apply 8-16 mL 1-2 feet up and 1-2 feet out around the perimeter of the structure, as well as around window and door frames and other potential entry points such as where plumbing or wiring enter a wall.
Temprid FX would be the best insecticide to use for active roach infestations due to the 2 active ingredients and dual modes of action it uses. Bifen IT would be suggested for general maintenance or preventative applications but not the recommended product if you have active roaches.
Active roach infestations require a combination of products and repeat treatments every 7-14 days to eradicate. Using a residual spray alone will not fully eradicate a roach colony. We recommend one of our Roach Control Kits to provide you with a residual insecticide, roach bait and insect growth regulator to help stop the reproduction. These kits provide enough products for the initial treatment as well as 2-3 follow up treatments.

Temprid FX Insecticide will kill adult listed insects including roaches and bedbugs. It should not be the sole product for roach control or bedbug treatment applications. We do offer Bedbug Kits (some contain Temprid FX) and you could use Gentrol IGR/Gentrol Point Source Stations and roach bait gel if treating both pests along with non-chemical efforts for both. Please take a few moments to review our treatment articles/videos on How to Get Rid of Roaches and How to Get Rid of Bedbugs for a successful program.
Temprid FX Insecticide should be stored in cool, dry place away from extreme hot or cold temperatures. We recommend that you find a secure location within your home such as a utility closet or laundry room where you can store the sealed bottle out of reach of children and where it will not freeze.
Yes, Temprid FX can be used for mosquitoes. The rate is 8-16 mL per gallon of water. Please see the product label for complete application instructions.
Neither Temprid FX nor Termidor SC contain a polymer. They are both suspend concentrates. Suspend Polyzone would be an insecticide that contains a special polymer to help it last longer on outside surfaces.
Temprid FX Insecticide is a water-based concentrate that is diluted with water, so there should be no visible residue once the application dries when used as directed.
Foliar means an application to the leaves with the product.
Since Temprid FX Insecticide is a dual mode of action insecticide, it is less likely to develop a resistance than other insecticides. Depending on the target pests you are treating, we would suggest rotating every 12 months or when a decrease in effectiveness occurs. For general purpose applications, Temprid FX Insecticide should be applied every 90 days indoors and every 30 days outdoors.
You can vacuum when the application of Temprid FX Insecticide has completely dried.
No, while Temprid FX provides a quick kill with the active ingredient Cyfluthrin as part of the dual mode of action, it does not kill instantly. ExciteR would be recommended for a contact kill pyrethrin insecticide. Once dry, this will not leave any residual.
