    Q
Can caged exotic birds remain in the room when spraying Temprid FX Insecticide? Is there an odor?
Treating for roaches. Exotic birds (Caiques, Conures, Amazons) in house. Should they be removed from the room? or the house? when applying the Tempered FX mostly due if there is an odor? They are in cages, well above the baseboards and would not be in contact with the Temprid
    A

Generally when spraying with Temprid FX Insecticide, pets should be removed from the room while spraying & may return once the product has dried. Since these are exotic birds though, we would recommend checking with your vet to make sure that it is okay that they are only removed from a room. Birds in general can be super sensitive to products and need to be completely out of treatment areas for several hours.  Regarding the smell, the product does state it has a low odor but it should go away by the time the product dries. You may also open the windows to help dissipate the smell quicker

    Q
Can Temprid FX be sprayed around reptiles
Can I spray in the same room as my snake if I’m not spraying next to the tank or is it safer to remove the snake from the room spraying? Also how long until I can move the snake back?
    A

Make sure all animals are removed from the area at the time of applying Temprid FX Insecticide. Let the treated areas completely dry before letting the animals back in, best to allow several hours and air out the area well.

    Q
Is Temprid FX still going to be effective if after spraying there is a light snowfall 6-8 hours later?
I have two questions, and a little bit of background. I discovered my neighbors have bedbugs, and are doing absolutely nothing to treat them. They had UNCOVERED mattresses outside on a balcony-like area about 12 feet from my house (detached properties, single family homes) for at least 36 hours. I know bedbugs don’t live outside typically, but I want to protect my home. 1) I sprayed Temprid FX around the perimeter (foundation AND ground) of my house, and then about 6-8 hours later got a bit of light snow. It will be melting soon, so will it reduce the efficacy or even remove the insecticide? I believe it had time to dry before the snow hit. 2) How effective is Temprid FX if applied to ground that is slightly damp? Thanks in advance
    A

Temprid FX Insecticide should not be applied during rain or snow. It could be washed away before having time to dry.    Bed bugs are not known to move between detached houses so treating preventatively outside is not recommended nor required.
We do not suggest treating damp soil with Temprid FX or any other insecticides.  For best results, apply in dry conditions and when rain is not expected for 24 hours.

    Q
Temprid FX Insecticide is a non-repellent, but if I mix 1 oz of Gentrol to the gallon mix, will it become repellent?
I want the roach to bring it back to the nest
    A

No, both Gentrol IGR and Temprid FX Insecticide are considered non-repellents even when mixing them together. If you were to add more than the labeled rate, then it would become a repellent.

    Q
Sprays like Temprid FX kill roaches for weeks and months if they step on it?
I know baits work because roaches eat them, go back to the nest and die and the other roaches eat the dead roaches causing collateral damage but do sprays do the same thing? If they step on the dried up sprays, how do they die and spread it?
    A

Temprid FX Insecticide will stay active for up to 90 days indoors and for about 30 days outdoors. It will kill insects that come in contact with a treated surface for that amount of time and will also have a slight transfer effect like a bait with one of the actives, Imidacloprid.
