If you are using a 1 Liter capacity sprayer, then you would need 2 mL of the Temprid SC Insecticide.
Temprid SC is labeled for a wide variety of insects, that includes Carpenter Ants and Carpenter Bees. We recommend to follow the label instructions. We also recommend using baits for Carpenter Ants, such as our Indoor Carpenter Ant Kit, and a dust like Delta Dust to treat into each Carpenter Bee hole. We recommend to go over each treatment article for Carpenter Ants and Carpenter Bees for further information. Another product worth looking into is Demon WP.
Temprid SC Insecticide would be best for ants. We would recommend applying Temprid SC monthly outside and once every three months indoors. Depending on what type of ants you have you can use other techniques to control ants such as baiting. Please visit our Ant Guide
Temprid SC will last for at least three years when stored in the original container (tightly sealed of course), out of direct sunlight and out of extreme temperatures. Many concentrates contain different active ingredients, some heavier than others so they can separate if left on a shelf for a few months. It is no problem though. Just shake the bottle for about 10 to 15 seconds and the solution will reset and look normal.
Once Temprid SC Insecticide has fully dried after application it is not going to transfer to other surfaces and/or people. It is formulated to remain on the surface it has been applied too.
Yes, Advion Roach Bait Gel can be used at the same time as Temprid SC. Make sure you put the bait in areas where you cannot spray, such as inside cabinets, drawers, etc. Do not spray the bait because this will contaminate it and the roaches will not consume it.
It is also recommended that you mix the Temprid SC with an insect growth regulator, such as Gentrol IGR. This will stop the life cycle of the roaches. This lasts approximately three months. Please see our Roach Treatment Guide for more information.
