Great product for getting rid of Creeping Bent Grass
By Bob on 08/23/2016
I found creeping bent grass in my newly soded lawn. The Univ of Idaho extension actually determined what it was and told that there was a selective herbicide for treating it that would not kill the grass. They could not recommend a brand product but did tell what to look for. That's when I found Tenacity. I applied a small amount and with a week it looks like it has killed the bent grass.

Excellent Service!!

Loved it!
By Deb on 08/29/2016
I could see where I sprayed the next day. A week later the weeds and trash grass are turning white. I used it on a buffalo grass lawn and am seeing NO damage so far to the buffalo grass. It is a difficult process, about three years worth, to get buffalo grass to a level where there is no weed competition. From then on, it is virtually maintenance free. If it works at seeding as it says, that process will go to one year. So far, I love this product!

This works even where I thought it wouldn't
By John on 08/31/2016
This stuff works. It works very well on crabgrass but you do sometimes have to spray a couple of times. It also is pretty good on creeping Charlie. It is not the best on some of the other weeds it is recommended for. It also works at killing my tall fescue in my bluegrass. That is what I like it for the best. I spay it on the tall fescue about 3 times spread out a week apart. It kills it within a month. I was told by professionals I would have to kill it with roundup and reseed. I also recommend using a measuring spoon instead of the syringe. I just dip it in the bottle and put it in a funnel in my sprayer. Then I rinse off the spoon with water inside the funnel.

This works even where I thought it wouldn't
By Randy on 09/03/2016
I have been using this most of the summer. It works very well on crabgrass and not so well on common purslane. It works pretty well on creeping Charlie. The best thing I like about this is that I have a lawn with bluegrass and with tall fescue mixed in. I asked an expert how to get rid of the tall fescue and he said roundup was the only thing. I tried this by accident trying to kill other weeds and noticed it affected the tall fescue with it getting white. I know it is supposed to be safe for tall fescue but if you repeat an application once a week for 3 weeks it will usually kill the tall fescue and leave the bluegrass looking fine. The next door neighbor even asked me to get rid of his patches of tall fescue and it is doing it.

Nimblewill Killer
By Roger on 09/17/2016
Don't let nimblewill take over! In home turf it spreads in outgrowing circles and the effect is not good. Purdue Ag Agent advised dead kill or pick it out by hand - right! Tenacity has solved our problem. It took most of two seasons as I was very cautious not to over use. Advice about spraying a second time is excellent as you will miss some. Reaction time is longer than most and using a spreader is wise. Watch closely for regrowth and be careful handling. I'm a chem major; this is a great product but deserves care and respect.

Tenancity Herbicide
By Tim on 09/28/2016
Lawn has very heavy weed pressure from years of neglect. Especially the grassy weed, nimblewill...Nothing will touch it until I found Tenacity Herbicide. Purchased same from Do My Own Pest Control. Product came via normal mail within 5-7 days. Mixed product in a hand held 1.5 gallon sprayer with regular liquid detergent used as a surfactant. 1 oz. of detergent and 1 teaspon of Herbicide per gallon of water was used. Product was put on 23 days ago and you can clearly see the nimblewill is nearly dead. I have an area that is almost solid nimblewill and it has killed this area as well. The nozzle on the sprayer sprays very fine, almost like a mist and i believe that helped as well keeping the product on the target. One issue only, if you have a lot of patches like i did, you will have some explaining to onlookers as you definitely have light patches where applied. Green is coming into these areas daily but is still visible at day 23....works as advertised. I used a plastic picnic teaspoon to measure product, not syringe provided as I am used to this method... clean up was easy with water.

YEARS OF SPOTS BAD GRASS
By Ron on 09/30/2016
I USED TENACITY JUST OVER 2 WEEKS AGO. IT SEEMS TO BE DOING A GOOD JOB. THE GOOD GRASS IS FILLING IN. I'VE TRIED 3 OR 4 OTHER METHODS OVER THE YEARS. NONE WORKED. SEVERAL OF YARDS AROUND ME HAVE ALSO TRIED TENACITY. ALL SEEM TO BE DOING THE JOB.

@ the time best price on the Web; less expensive than E_ay
By Donald on 10/06/2016
"LOVE" this product, prior to it being available to consumers. Getting bentgrass out of my Kentucky Bluegrass lawn was a nightmare. Had to kill the bentgrass, dig up huge brown bentgrass spots, put down sod. One year I put down 45 rolls of sod. Only to have the bentgrass return to the spots I missed. Each Fall I spray entire lawn X2, this herbicide targets certain weeds, the rest of grass is left alone. I just have spots of white (weeds dying). Spray entire lawn in the Spring, just too make sure I got them all. No more problems with bentgrass!

crabgrass killer
By Dark on 11/07/2016
Goes a long way. One teaspoon for each gallon. Applied and the crabgrass began dying out in about 8 to 10 days. None of my St Augustine Floratamwas affected in any way. This product does the job. I would strongly recommend this product to anyone wanting to get rid of crabgrass.

Bentgrass invaded 1.5 acres
By Nancy on 11/19/2016
Amazing product. Wish had known after new seeding of 5000 sq ft in summer after pool install. Summer grass planting - Big mistake - was overrun with barnyard grass - good thing I love to weed = 6 hours a day for days and days. I knew I had bent grass, too - was invaded by neighbors - 'course easy to blame them (smile). Now am conquering bent grass and spray 2 feet into neighbor's yards on either side as a buffer. Lovin' the results. Happy to pay the price. thanks so much. Ohio

Worked Really Well On St.Augustine Floratam
By J_l_ on 03/07/2017
Extremely satisfied with the product. Took 2 applications in 2 weeks, with the 2nd application at a slightly stronger strength. First spray didn't seem to do anything but after the second spray close to 90% of the weeds were gone. In total, about 4 weeks for the product to work. Some blades turned white so lawn looks like it has highlights but grass is still healthy and should grow out of it. It may take multiple applications so don't be discouraged if it doesn't seem to work at first.

Dying weeds a beautiful sight.
By Angelo on 04/19/2017
Laid down product on 1000 sqft on a Saturday, 7-10 days later I have existing weeds turning yellow and white. Weeds that are just breaking the surface are almost immediately turning yellow and white as well. Currently I have a bunch of white dying pre and post weeds on my lawn. Product works great so far, just need to have patience and it will surprise you.

ALL AROUND GREAT !!
By Steve's on 05/22/2017
This particular product is great! Have patience, it is slow to work. Follow directions precisely. Kinda' pricey but the only way to remove bent grass from a Kentucky Blue blend without killing everything. Works well on broadleafs too, but there are many less expensive options for those.

Love Love Love this product
By Barbara on 05/22/2017
I had large patches of bent grass. Used this product. It took awhile to work. Transitioning from light green to white. Put on in mid April. Now the blue grass is growing thru the remains of bent grass. I will use again this fall if needed. Thank goodness for this amazing product.
Awesome
By Dan on 06/06/2017
I neighbor recommended this for my Kentucky bluegrass lawn which have several different annual blue grasses and some other fat leafed grasses in it. I have spot applied tenacity about 4 or 5 times and almost all of my annual grass has been eliminated. It is even working on the other weeds as well.

May be working. Poa is turning white, but roots look fine...
By Frank on 06/13/2017
I ordered tenacity about 2 weeks ago. Got it and put it on with the blue dye and used the non-ionic surfactant. The blue dye really didn't help me that much, turned my shoes, socks and pants leg blue. I could tell where it was in some spots in the yard, but in other spots, you couldn't tell any was there. We applied it in the late afternoon, and it was dry by noon the next day when the grass dew was gone. We then reapplied it 5 days later, and there were spots in the grass where I noticed the grass was turning white. It doesn't look like its dying, but it's only been 1.5 weeks. But it is definitely white!! So I don't have a definitive yes or no on whether or not its going to work, and will update my post in a few weeks.

Perfect Once You Hit Something It Targets
By Justin on 06/20/2017
This is a very-selective herbicide. It worked great for some Crab-Grass in my Centipde but unfortunately didn't touch green-killinga. I am not holding this against it in the review because it is not labeled to do that. Ironically, it did knock out most of my green nutsedge, which is in the same family as Killinga I hear. the solution to that was a product called Dismiss (also sold here). I just want to point out this product DOES have some soil activity. I rinsed out a sprayer about 6' from a shurb and had a few leaves turn paper-white in color - oops. Had some areas go light green as well. Seems to be recovering nicely and needed to be trimmed anyway. Just be careful. This is one of those super-powerful , yet highly selective herbicides.
