Termidor/Tarus concentration and depth penetration....

I have a two spots where the termites look like they are entering. I will use either Termidor or Tarus, but there are different concentrations. Is 0.06% ok or better to user higher in those spots. Additionally 4 gal per 10 feet is standard. Should I be decreasing the feet to get product deeper into ground in trouble areas.... If so how much? Lastly ok to use product day after rain

Answer:

Both Termidor and Taurus would be applied at .8 oz per gallon of water.  The 6 inch deep trench is deep enough and there is generally no need to go lower than that.  Decreasing the footage the 4 gallons covers does not make the product penetrate deeper as it is going to bind to the soil it is applied to.  It is ok to use the product a day after rain but you want to make sure the soil is not too saturated with water from the rain.
