The Tomahawk Model 311S is a 38" heavy duty animal grasper with jaw cushions. The heavy duty grasper features a super strong .090 aluminum tube. Animal graspers are great tools for handling animals such as raccoons, cats, woodchucks and similar sized or smaller animals. The smoothly contoured grasper jaws are designed to restrain animals while minimizing discomfort. The jaws are also designed to prevent pinching or gathering of the animals' skin. The handle grip commands a steel cable which activates the jaws. This provides the handler with a precise feel of pressure being applied to the animal.

The ends of the jaws do come together on the Tomahawk 311S, but it is just the ends. Not the middle part so objects may fall out. They are more for use in grasping animals safely
