I haven't seen a snake in the yard since receiving the Tomahawk. I live in Arizona and routinely have to catch and release rattlesnakes in the yard. While I haven't used it yet, I can tell just by testing it out on some objects that it it 10x better than the tongs I had been using before.
Snake tongs -- is there a recommended length for first time whimpy users
I'm not experienced in using tongs! We have had 2 black snakes this year, so I think it's time for me to handle the situation personally. I'm curious about which length you might suggest for a novice user. I read your guide on suggested way of handling the snakes. Another thought is once the snake is caught, how secure is the grip? Two reasons; I don't want him slipping away again and I don't want to hurt or wound the snake. Thank you, Peter
