What size catfish will it catch and what do you bait it with

A

The 406 Single Trap Door with Easy Release Door Rigid XL Fish Live Trap will catch catfish up to 5lbs. Over 5lbs they will not fit in the funnel. The trap can hold up to 15 fish at a time. There are different types of bait you can use. I have found that just plain old hot dogs work best.

The 406 Single Trap Door with Easy Release Door Rigid XL Fish Live Trap is a great trap to use for catfish in a river. A plus is that it is made from galvanized steel for rust and corrosion protection.

Per the manufacturer, the size of the opening is about 4 inches in diameter, but the prongs can be bent inwards some if you need the hole to be smaller.
