The Tomahawk Model 404 Turtle Trap - Is a collapsible turtle trap with one trap door for turtles up to 100 lbs. This trap is constructed of heavy duty 12 gauge wire mesh and steel rods. It is galvanized to provide resistance to rust and corrosion. It features a spring loaded trap door with a special locking system that allows it to perform well in water at any angle. It is strong, durable and will last for years. Bait this trap with dead fish or meat of any kind and secure it to the bottom of the trap behind the trip pan. Drop the baited trap into the water making sure some of it is above water to allow captured turtles to breath. This trap measures 40L x 24W x 11H when set up but folds flat in seconds for easy storage.
