Cat feeder
By John on 12/24/2021
The design of the trap is done very well, it's the latching mechanism that is the weak link. The magnet is not strong enough to detain an excited cat. I watched a cat set the trap, eat the tuna fish and then over power the magnetic latch and escape! I basically wasted a fair amount of money and still have the cat issue.

Cool trap
By Raquel on 03/07/2022
I bought this trap to catch two feral cats that were outside. I baited them for months. The first time the trap caught one, I thought it was in the bag but she was smart, she was out of the trap faster than I could put my winter boots on. The second cat was not as savy. I caught him, but I think it was because I added a super powered magnet to the door. I don't think the magnets are strong enough, but I improvised. Still trying to trap the first cat that got out. I think this is a cool trap but they have to throw in some sort of a clasp. This cat was strong. She pulled the door open and out she went. I like that they can't see out, it kept the cat calm, that is until I let it out.

I haven't had this cage very long and I have trapped 2 feral cats one of the cats was very difficult to catch and I could never catch her I think she was familiar with the square traps the first night nothing the second night I got her and she was spayed thank God I think the fact it was round helped . Thank you

Purrfect way to humanely trap a cat or kitten
By Valerie on 01/15/2022
Love this trap. Good design. It traps adults and kittens, negates the need for 2 traps of different sizes. Easier to handle, lighter, smaller, like the hatbox style design. Tail less likely to get caught. Less likely that cat can escape. Like the green lining, too. Fewer moving parts, less likely to break or need repair, I think. One of the catches on the food holder broke during use, not sure how, as a volunteer was using it that day, but no worries. Still a good trap.

Worked for a challenging Feral!
By Lee on 11/15/2024
I failed miserably at trapping a feral who had experience with a traditional, rectangular humane trap. I began searching for something he might not recognize as a trap and found this roundhouse trap. After disguising it with mulch roll material and rubbing in soil and leaves, I put out the wet food he couldn’t resist, first in front of the trap. Then I tied it open and moved the food inside a couple of inches each day. When I saw his entire body disappear inside to eat, it was time. It worked flawlessly and was worth the cost to move that goofball feral inside where I can work with him.

best cat trap in the world
By Terri on 01/14/2025
I had a big huge tomcat hanging around and it was mean as any cat could ever be. It would bite my big horse on her neck and face and use claws on the face. I was mad as hell. So I got this trap. Fist night I put dry cat food in the cup and left the top door off. It "learned" that it could go in the door, eat food and exit out the top door. Second night I put the top door on and put dry food in the cup. Cat went in to ate and door closed. Cat could not get out and went round and round in the trap. The cat was easily removed. This is the best cat trap ever.
